KSI is preparing to fight Dillon Danis on March 21 in Manchester. Who could be his next boxing opponent? (Image: PA Images / Alamy)
KSI, who is scheduled to face Dillon Danis on March 21 in Manchester, had been looking for a new boxing opponent after his planned fight with former footballer Wayne Bridge collapsed. He was initially set to go up against the ex-Chelsea and England defender on March 29th.
It came about at Misfits 20, when KSI taunted Bridge in the ring over allegations that his ex-Chelsea teammate John Terry had an affair with his former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, which she has always denied.
KSI then pushed Bridge in the chest and the pair had to be separated by security guards. While the fight had looked set to take place, Bridge has since pulled out after the "deeply personal comments crossed a line."
He also wrote on Instagram, "My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids. I hope one day he will look back on this differently. I personally don't want to be involved in these exchanges.
"I will no longer be fighting on 29th March. I'm still looking out for my next big challenge and have some exciting things coming up in 2025.
"Thanks for all the love. The support has been overwhelming. I want my friends and family to know how special they are. Deep down I know this is the right thing to do."

But where does this leave KSI after fight with Danis?
Since Dillon Danis jumped in to replace Bridge, the rumour mill has been in overdrive about who KSI might box next. Darren Till is the 1/1 favourite after a fan, named Iron Whale, sent him a whopping £5,150 to knock the trash-talking YouTuber out.
An accompanying note read, "I can’t stand KSI, his ego is almost as ridiculous as his commentary skills / music, please KO him for me".
Odds On Who KSI Could Fight after Dillon Danis? | |
---|---|
Darren Till | 1/1 |
Amir Khan | 6/4 |
Luke Rockhold | 2/1 |
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr | 3/1 |
Nate Diaz | 5/1 |
Carl Froch | 8/1 |
Tommy Fury | 10/1 |
Wayne Rooney | 16/1 |
Jake Paul | 25/1 |
Wayne Bridge | 33/1 |
Till, who is nicknamed The Gorilla, is in good form after making his professional boxing debut in early January and knocking out ex-MMA fighter Anthony Taylor at Misfits 20.
The Gorilla seems well up for taking KSI on, telling Fanvue, "KSI just showed he’s the biggest fraud in boxing. I’m sat in the same room as him and he calls out a retired footy player. It just shows the type of man he is.
"He will not challenge himself and that’s why he will never be a real fighter. It’s honestly that simple. Instead of backing himself and calling me out, he showed his scumbag character and brought family, wives, and kids into it with Wayne... and now everyone knows who he is.
"And now they all want to see me knock him spark out. I literally had a fan send me $5K on Fanvue asking me to end his career! All I want to do now is give them all what they want. The world is watching now.
"KSI can fight me and prove us all wrong or accept he will never be a real fighter. It’s over to him."

But Till isn't the only fighter keen to take KSI on. British boxer Amir Khan, who retired in 2022, is up for getting his gloves back on to grapple with the YouTuber and admitted there were talks about a possible bout—but no offer was made.
He told The Sun, "That's the thing I don't understand; they just call my name but they don't wanna give an offer, you know what I mean?
"How can you really take something seriously if there's no offer given or they don't want to talk? At the end of the day, look, we're prize fighters, we talk numbers. If the numbers match, then yeah, it's a fight, but if not, then if it's all just hype and talk, it's not gonna work.
"But look, yeah there were talks about it and they asked me a question if I'll be up for it. Yeah, I mean, look, I'm a fighter. Every fighter is up for a fight so yeah, let's see."
Khan is 6/4 to take on KSI, while others who have been mentioned include Luke Rockhold (2/1), Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (3/1) and Nate Diaz (5/1).
Like Khan, Carl Froch is another retired star who has been linked to a potential bout with KSI after he blasted him as a "little worm" following his unsavoury Bridge jibe.
Odds On Next Ex-Footballer To Step Into The Boxing Ring | |
---|---|
Wayne Rooney | 13/8 |
Wayne Bridge | 2/1 |
Phil Bardsley | 3/1 |
James McClean | 4/1 |
Rio Ferdinand | 5/1 |
Jamie Vardy | 6/1 |
Roy Keane | 8/1 |
Duncan Ferguson | 10/1 |
He said on his YouTube channel, "I saw KSI jump in the ring and face off with Wayne Bridge. He walked right into it, didn’t he?
"Because KSI, the little worm, he started on his missus and the whole John Terry shenanigans from back in the day. Bringing up old s***, bring up some new material if you’re going to have a go at someone.
"Wayne Bridge really should have just slapped him across his stupid chops."
Froch said he would have "slapped" KSI if he had been in a similar situation, and he is 8/1 to box him in the future.

However, Tommy Fury (10/1) or Jake Paul (25/1) are unlikely to be KSI's next opponents. Boxer Matt Floyd has claimed he is taking on Fury on the undercard of KSI's proposed March 29th fight.
And Jake has hinted he and his brother Logan Paul will finally face off in the ring on March 27th. What's more, Bridge is 33/1 to reverse his decision.
While Bridge looks unlikely to go up against KSI anytime soon after the uncomfortable comments, the ex-Manchester City star is just 2/1 to be the next former footballer to enter the ring.
Wayne Rooney is the 13/8 favourite after he recently left his job as Plymouth Argyle manager by mutual agreement.
While it's thought he's keen to get back into football management, if Rooney opted for a change of career, then the ring could beckon.
Last year, it was reported in the Daily Mirror newspaper that Rooney was considering a fight with Misfits Boxing, the crossover boxing promotion founded by KSI. When asked last year on The Overlap podcast if he will move into boxing anytime soon, he said, "You never know."

However, at the time he was keen to get back into management and he went on to land a job at Plymouth.
KSI has even called out Rooney before, saying in a press conference: "It's funny, and I hope he doesn't get annoyed that I'm saying this, but Wayne Rooney hit me up saying, 'Oh, we should fight.'
"I said, 'No,' I just don't want to do that, but if Wayne Rooney is down, I think it would be good to have him in the [influencer boxing] space."
It's 16/1 that Rooney becomes KSI's next opponent.
If Rooney or Bridge isn't the next former footballer into the ring, then Rooney's former Manchester United teammates Phil Bardsley (3/1), Rio Ferdinand (5/1), or Roy Keane (8/1) could be in contention.
