FuturePlay is a brand new online casino experience for Irish players, featuring over 4,000 games!
There’s one major thing that sets FuturePlay apart from the rest - it’s a crypto casino, so all of your deposits and withdrawals will be done in currencies like Bitcoin.
If that sounds interesting, keep reading my FuturePlay review, where I’ll go into all the juicy details.

FuturePlay has a reputation for awarding big bonuses, and this isn’t really surprising for a crypto casino. In general.
When you play with crypto, you’ll usually be awarded a bigger bonus than you would if you were playing with fiat currency (or “normal money”). Because these bonuses can seem almost a bit too good to be true, it’s even more important to make sure you’re familiar with the T&Cs of each offer before you claim.
The T&Cs of the FuturePlay bonuses are pretty standard, but one thing I noticed was that the minimum deposit amount is usually €30 to claim the bonus, and that’s a little more than most other online casinos. There are also 40x wagering requirements on bonuses.
It’s not just new players that get rewarded at this crypto casino though. Regulars can take part in special promos like Drops & Wins, where you could get random cash prizes when you play certain games.
There are lots of regular tournaments, where you’ll go head-to-head with other players to stand a chance of winning prizes like bonuses.
The first thing to remember is that all of the casino bonuses, including the FuturePlay welcome offer, are awarded in crypto, so it’s a little difficult to quantify them in Euro.
If you’re not hugely familiar with the conversion rate, you might need to do some googling and make sure you keep up, but at the moment 1 BTC = roughly €37,000. So even a bonus of 1 BTC is absolutely huge and much bigger than traditional casinos usually award.
The great thing about FuturePlay bonuses is that they don’t only award a deposit bonus - you’ll probably get a good amount of free spins too.
One thing I noticed is that new players almost always get multiple bonuses on the first few deposits, so you’ll have reasons to keep coming back and depositing more money to get more free BTC and free spins.
FuturePlay has a multi-level loyalty programme, and you’ll get in automatically as soon as you sign up! You’ll start off on the Rookie level, with perks like a 5% cashback weekly, and Sunday reload offers of 30% on your deposit.
To make your way up the loyalty ladder, keep playing all of your favourite games, and you might even end up on the top tier of Hall of Famer, where the rewards include a 10% weekly cashback and a 90% Sunday reload bonus.
Claiming your bonuses at FuturePlay couldn’t be easier - all you need to do is deposit the minimum amount and indicate in the cashier that you want to claim the bonus.
Then you’ll be able to go off and use the offer on your favourite games, and the only obstacle standing between you and withdrawing your winnings is the 40x wagering requirement.
I’ll put it in simple, non-crypto terms for you. If you claim a €100 bonus with 40x wagering, you’ll have to wager €4,000 before you can withdraw.
It’s quite a lot and it means that you might not have any money left by the time you’re able to withdraw, but it’s not utterly prohibitive, so I think it’s still a good idea to claim the bonus.
FuturePlay has absolutely every type of game I look for when I’m reviewing an online casino: tonnes of online slots for real money including jackpots, lots of live dealer games, and a whole selection of more unique games which I’ll tell you about in the next sections.
When an online casino is very focused on slots, it often doesn’t have many table games. So I was happy to see that FuturePlay has options like Mini Baccarat, Twenty-One, American Blackjack, European Blackjack, Hi-Low, and Dice, all outside of the live dealer environment.
You can also play online poker with table games like Caribbean Poker and Oasis Poker by Bsg and Joker Poker and Magic Poker by Wazdan.
FuturePlay is home to over 4,000 games - phew, that’s a lot! Most of these are slots, so you can expect an excellent range of games, much better than you would have seen at most other Irish online casinos.
Some of the best online slots include well-known titles like Gates of Olympus and Bonanza Billion, but I was also happy to see that new games are released all the time.
Right now, some of the newer drops include Pirates Party by NetEnt, Wild Heart by BGaming, and Chinese Luck by 1spin4win, so make sure you give those a go.
Loads of the games at FuturePlay come with special features, one of which is Megaways, where the number of symbols appearing on the reels changes every time you spin, creating thousands of ways to win!
Some of my favourite Megaways games include Mammoth Gold Meagways, Piggy Riches Megaways, and Blazing Wilds Megaways. There are also progressive jackpots, bonus buy slots, and much more.
All of the live dealer tables at FuturePlay are made by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, and you simply can’t go wrong when you game with one of these providers.
The live dealer section at FuturePlay has so much more than just the classics. You can explore interactive games like Crazy Pachinko and Treasure Island, or enjoy a variation of your favourites, like Red Door Roulette, Prism Roulette, or VIP blackjack (where the limits are much higher). In fact, for online roulette sites that crypto users can bet at, this one's very good.
Or you can opt for First Person-style games that combine animation with the live dealer experience.
I chose one of the Pragmatic Play titles that’s usually included in the Drops & Wins promo as the star game at FuturePlay. I highly recommend Gate of Olympus 1000, a six-reel, five-row game with high volatility, the chance to purchase the bonus round, and huge win multipliers.
With a name like FuturePlay, you would expect the operator to provide a seamless mobile experience, and it does! While there isn't a dedicated mobile app, if you own an Android device, an iPhone, or a tablet, you'll be able to access most of the features on those gadgets.
While not all crypto casinos work with the biggest providers in the business, FuturePlay does. Here you can expect to find games from household names in the gambling world, like NetEnt and Pragmatic Play.
Both of these are known for producing high-quality games, and Pragmatic titles even feature promos like Drops & Wins that award random cash prizes when you spin.
FuturePlay is a little bit different to other online casinos when it comes to payments. Rather than depositing using bank cards or e-wallets, FuturePlay is entirely crypto-based.
You’ll be asked to choose your cryptocurrency when you’re signing up, but you can always change this within your account later. The most popular deposit option is Bitcoin, but Irish players can also use Dogecoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, and a few other options. You can send any amount of money to your account using crypto.
The good news is that if you don’t have any cryptocurrency, that’s no problem. You can use Mercuryo to buy crypto using your Visa or Mastercard, directly from the FuturePlay site.
It’s the same for withdrawals, you’ll need to use crypto, but if you don’t have a crypto wallet you can use Mercuryo. The minimum withdrawal amount is the equivalent of €20.
Top tip: If you don’t have crypto, you can buy it with Mercuryo on the FuturePlay site
Creating your FuturePlay account is as easy as can be! Here are the steps:
FuturePlay is operated by a company based in Curacao, so they hold an e-gaming license from the Government of Curacao, under number 8048/JAZ2020-13.
I’ve checked all of FuturePlay’s customer protection details and can assure you that you don’t need to have any security worries when you’re gambling at FuturePlay.
Because of the licensing requirements, FuturePlay has strict Know Your Customer protocols, so you’ll have to verify your identity on the site (more about that later). There’s no need to worry, just think of this as an extra way that the online casino is keeping you safe!
Within your account section, you’ll also have the ability to set extra security measures like Two-Factor Authentication to make your experience even safer.
Irish players can sign up for a FuturePlay account with just a few basic details, but you’ll have to verify your identity before you can withdraw, so you may as well do it right at the start so you don’t have any delays later.
You’ll have to provide your ID and proof of address documents, and you might also have to verify your payment method. Follow these steps to verify your account:
You can read FuturePlay’s full responsible gambling policy by using the link in the footer of the site, and it’s a good idea to do this before you start playing.
To use the responsible gambling tools, go to the “personal limits” section within your account, and here you can set deposit limits, loss limits, or wagering limits. You can also set a cooling-off period to give yourself a break for a short amount of time, or self-exclude for longer.
FuturePlay offers efficient customer support through several different channels, so you should have no trouble getting in touch if you need to.
First, check out the FAQs section where you’ll find answers to some common questions like how to play casino games, and how to withdraw your money.
If you have a specific question, you can send an email to the team by filling out the form on the support page, or you can use live chat (on desktop and mobile) to get an answer immediately. Live chat is available 24/7, so this is definitely the best way to get in touch.
Crypto casinos are still pretty new so you might not have played at one before, but FuturePlay is a great option if you want to try out this gambling experience!
There are a whole lot of reasons to play, like the great game variety and the fantastic promotions that are much better than other online casinos. The only real drawback is that you can’t use debit cards or e-wallets, but that’s to be expected with a crypto casino.
For me, the most surprising things about FuturePlay were the sheer variety of games (over 4,000 of them), and the sizes of the bonuses. The games on offer aren’t just random titles either, they all come from reputable providers, and you’ll have a chance of a real money win.
When you’re playing at a crypto casino, you do expect slightly better offers than at traditional online casinos, but I wasn’t expecting bonuses that can go as high as 4 BTC for new players!
Unlike most other online casinos, FuturePlay doesn’t take deposits with the usual methods like bank cards and e-wallets. FuturePlay only takes crypto, and there’s no minimum deposit - within the cashier section, you can send any amount of money to your account.
If you withdraw using your preferred crypto method, the money should be with you pretty much immediately, as long as you’ve verified your account in advance. If you’ve requested a bank transfer instead, it will take around three days for the funds to get to you.
FuturePlay does a few things to keep your data safe - like firewalls and encryption, plus you can add Two Factor Authentication to give yourself an extra layer of security. Plus, it is licensed and regulated by the government of Curacao.
While it’s natural to have some reservations about crypto casinos, FuturePlay is a legit one that works with the best software providers around right now. The sites uses special technology to protect your data and any money in your account.
Even though FuturePlay is a crypto casino, you’ll still need to withdraw a certain minimum amount per transaction. For most withdrawals, it’s the equivalent of €20, but you’ll need to check what this is in your specific cryptocurrency.
FuturePlay has a few support options, including email and live chat. I’d recommend using live chat because the team members are very quick to respond, and they’re on standby 24/7, so you’ll never have to wait around for an answer.
