Fruta Casino isn’t your average Joe casino, it plays by its own rules. And I’m here for it. The real groundbreaker here is its ‘parachute’ bonus system, which lets you play with real money first before your bonus kicks in. No sticky bonuses, no instant restrictions, just pure, unrestricted gameplay. Plus, wagering requirements only kick in once you dip into your bonus balance. Neat, right?
There are plenty of casino bonuses available at any one time, including matched deposit offers and free spins galore. As I always tell you to, keep a tab on that promos page and check back to it often.
One quick heads-up before we look at the promos in detail. Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify to unlock certain bonuses here. So always check the terms before you dive in.
And do bear in mind that bonuses change all the time. So I can’t promise the promos I describe here will be around by the time you call in at Fruta Casino.
You’ll normally find a pretty sweet sign-up bonus at Fruta. Every time I’ve checked it’s been a bundle offer that combines a deposit match with a batch of free spins. When I joined, the welcome deal was spread across the first three deposits and only applied to select games. Fire in the Hole Bomb, Gates of Olympus, and Sweet Bonanza seem to be Fruta’s popular picks for this. Meanwhile, free spins were delivered in batches after each deposit.
I’ve seen Fruta Casino provide a separate welcome bonus on live games, too. It’s a pure deposit match, so no free spins unlike the other welcome package. But given so many sites exclude live titles from their bonuses, this is a pretty sweet option to have
You play with your own deposited money first, then switch to bonus money after. But don’t get too carried away, because there are no max bets over $5 with bonus funds, or you’ll hit the naughty list. The best part is the wagering requirements only kick in when you hit that bonus balance, so take your time and enjoy the game. You might even land a win before you touch the bonus funds!
I love a daily promo. They really give you something to come back for. And I was pleased to see Fruta got the memo.
I could claim free round bonuses in Daily Drops, which came with a daily prize pool of $54,000 and 6,500 prizes total. Daily tournaments, meanwhile, have a prize pool of $72,000 and 3,500 total giveaways. Games eligible for these daily bonuses included Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Bonanza, Zues vs Hades, The Dog House, and John Hunter: Book of Tut. Remember here you will need to play with real money. This can’t be done in conjunction with any other offers.
I then realised there are random prizes every day, every hour, with no pause. Wild.
Join in and you might land a share of $504,000 monthly. Under this promo, there are also CashDays, which apply to any high stakes tournaments in the first eight days of the month.
Then there’s something called Short Races, where you can win from a prize pool of $180,000 monthly. There are thousands of these races with resetting leaderboards across the site, each available from the 9th of the month until the end of it.
Another bonus, and it’s a bit of a gamechanger. You play your favourite titles and reap free spin rewards based on the value of your spins. You see your progress via a bar on the left-hand menu. You can claim the spins by clicking the avatar or claiming them from your Rewards section. The levels you can climb are limitless, and the free spins given out come with a 30x wagering requirement. But the spins are only valid for 24 hours, so get playing when they’re given out.
Clearly, loyalty is everything at Fruta. They make a real point of it. But go on to give away absolutely nothing about how the loyalty programme works. Well, almost nothing.
The site says that if you play your cards right, you’ll receive bonus funds and free spins with no wagering attached. On top of that, there are tournaments, cash drops, wagering races, and other giveaways. And if you become part of the loyalty programme, you’ll get a personal account manager. But exactly how you do that is anyone’s guess. Still, I’m intrigued at least.
The minimum deposit on promos here is usually $20, with 40x wagering for cash bonuses and 30x for free spins, which is standard stuff. Pokies contribute 100% to wagering, while select live games like Crazy Time and Wheel of Fortune chip in 50%. Table games don’t contribute. The max bet is $5 and bonus buys are rarely under $5.
Taking all that into account, there was nothing here to put me off. No red flags. It’s all pretty standard.
No player gets left behind in this funhouse. At first glance, Fruta is a true gaming paradise offering everything from classic table games to pokies and live dealer action. And with big names behind the games including Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, and Red Tiger, quality is assured.
The lobby has a search function, so if you have a game in mind, you can check if it’s here. Otherwise, there are a handful of tabs to narrow your search. To be honest, I’d like to see more. There’s no tab where I can check out the most popular or newest games, for example. But that doesn’t detract from what is clearly a well thought out games library.
Pokies do make up the bulk of the games at Fruta. But I was pleased to see that the other categories aren’t neglected. In fact, they’ve got a table game selection that’s more stacked than a poker player's hand.
This includes 42 different variants of blackjack. These range from Classic Blackjack to modern Vegas-style variations. They even spice it up with side bets and Single Deck Blackjack.
Another highlight is the first-person games. First-person is usually a preference of mine, it just adds to the experience. Titles here include First-Person Craps and First-Person Lightning Roulette.
Even baccarat and poker get a good look in here, two games often neglected in this category. There are 12 versions of the former and 22 of the latter.
If you need some recommendations here, try:
Fruta Casino’s pokies selection is a kid in a candy store situation. There's so much to choose from that it simply can’t be counted. Notably, there’s a healthy raft of jackpots, megaways, and progressives, so you’ll never feel shortchanged.
I counted 13 progressive jackpot pokies, including some of my favourites like Mega Moolah and Immortal Romance. And then there are the megaways. Gonzo’s Quest Megaways by Red Tiger Gaming is a favorite for those chasing huge wins, while you can also try your luck on Agent Jane Blonde or Starburst in all its variations (because one version is never enough). And who could forget the legendary Book of Dead from Play’n Go? It’s all there.
A few more recommendations from me:
If you're after that real casino vibe without leaving your couch, Fruta’s live casino takes you right into the action. The live games are awarded their whole own section of the lobby, and quite rightly too. Tabs make it easy to sort between roulette, blackjack, baccarat, gameshows, and VIP. Poker feels like an obvious omission here, but there are several poker titles if you go searching.
Blackjack is the clear favourite here, though. There are 90 live casino blackjack titles alone, which feels huge. The best of those I played (and no, I didn’t try them all) has to be Speed Blackjack. I was impressed by the number of game shows, too. There’s more here than at most sites.
In the live section, I really enjoyed:
I headed for the app store on my trusty iPhone 13 Pro and I came up empty. Turns out there’s no Fruta Casino app yet, which is a little disappointing. So I dusted myself off and headed for the mobile browser.
Thankfully, the experience here is top. There wasn’t much between it and the desktop site, where I’d originally signed up. Yes, an Elder Millennial like me still gets the laptop out for the big jobs.
As far as I could tell, all the same games were available and navigation on the site is identical. It seems like Fruta has the small screen figured out, even without an app.
You can tell a lot about a casino from who’s stocking the games. If we’re to judge Fruta Casino on that, it’s doing well. The site partners with some of the industry’s top software providers, all names you’ll recognise if you know your stuff. Think Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger, and NetEnt.
If I had one criticism it’d be that I’d like to see a few new, smaller studios. But I feel that way about some of the best casinos online. I shouldn’t really single out Fruta.
I found a solid selection of payment methods available to me at Fruta Casino. As you’d expect, they spanned from bank cards to e-wallets, prepaid cards, and even Bitcoin. So there’s something for everyone.
Refreshingly, there’s consistency as to what to expect across the various methods. For example, all come with a minimum deposit of $20, with all these deposits being instant. Maximum deposit across all methods is $4,000, except Paysafecard where it’s $400.
The only thing that’s a bit more complex are the minimum withdrawals. These jump around from $10 to $30 a time, depending on the method used.
How long you'll wait for your withdrawal depend on the method. Bank cards it could be up to five business days, but should be more like two or three. At the other end of the spectrum, crypto withdrawals are virtually instant. It's not often you find NZ casinos with instant withdrawal.
Two exceptions to all the numbers I’ve just provided. Poli and Jetonbank are listed as payment methods on the site, but absolutely no further info is given. So they match the above, or something might be different. I’m afraid I can’t say for sure. If you want to use these methods, perhaps check in with customer support before parting wish cash.
I had no issues getting the ball rolling at Fruta. Everything’s as you’d expect. Just follow these steps:
Your deposit should land in your account instantly. If it takes more than a few minutes, contact customer support. Otherwise, you’re all good to go.
I’m fully confident that Fruta Casino is legitimate, licensed, and regulated. It’s owned by Happy Hour Solutions Ltd and has gambling licenses from the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. They include HKL000374 (issued on 17 December 2021) and HKT000063 (issued on 4 November 2021).
Fairness is obviously key. And that’s why the site uses Random Number Generators (RNGs) to ensure that every spin, card draw, and dice roll is truly random. Independent auditors like eCOGRA or iTech Labs certify their games for fairness. So you can leave those particular worries at the door.
Fruta also uses the latest encryption technology to keep your personal and financial details locked down tight. This is now standard stuff at any legit online casino. All in all, I have no worries about customer safety at Fruta NZ. Everything looks to be above board.
In line with anti-money laundering (AML) laws, Fruta implements the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This means the site must be sure that you (yes, you) are legitimate, of legal age, and play responsibly.
This means you might be asked to submit documents that prove who you are. When you’ll be asked is anyone’s guess. It varies from site to site and person to person. But be prepared should you be asked and get it out of the way ASAP. Otherwise you may not be able to use your account fully, including making withdrawals.
You may be asked to provide one or more of the following:
Once sent off, and assuming everything’s fine, you’ll be approved in a day or two.
I always tell folks to judge a casino on how it approaches responsible gambling. Which is good news for Fruta Casino, because they’re doing a solid job of it.
The Responsible Gambling area can be found in the footer. Here you’ll get the lowdown on what the various tools are and how they all work.
The tools are open ended, which I liked. For example, you can enter deposit, loss, and wager limits to apply daily, weekly, or monthly, with any limit you like. Time outs can be applied for one day or one week. While self-exclusion is available for two, three, or six months.
I was pleased to see tons of links to external support orgs, too. Nice work, Fruta.
It’s a shame to have to say it, but Fruta Casino’s customer support could do better. There’s live chat but it’s limited hours. You’ll find it available from 8:00am to 1:00am CET. That might seem a harsh criticism on my part, but given so many sites now offer 24/7 support, that’s the bar I’ll be holding Fruta to.
You can always shoot them an email at support@fruta.com, anytime you like. Otherwise, their FAQ section seems reasonably good and up to date. I found answers to a couple of burning questions here.
It’s easy to see why Fruta Casino’s taking off in New Zealand. From an innovative parachute bonus system to 90 live blackjack games alone, they’ve really thought on what us players want. That’s backed up by a huge range of payment methods accepted, including crypto. And a strong approach to responsible gambling is further proof that Fruta know what they’re doing.
Are there things I’d improve? Sure. An app would be nice. Plus the shine came off a little when it came to customer service. But it’s worth remembering this is a new online casino, and that these things can be worked on. So Fruta gets my seal of approval.
The sheer number and variety of promos at any one time. To be honest, it’s a little overwhelming. But I’d much rather feel that way than be left high and dry after the welcome promo.
The minimum deposit at Fruta Casino in New Zealand is $20 across almost all methods. That makes this a low-deposit casino compared with the norm. All deposits are instant. Though there are also maximum amounts for deposits that you may want to be aware of. Check the site’s terms to see what these are for your chosen payment method.
Fruta Casino’s withdrawal processing times vary based on the payment method you use. E-wallets and crypto transactions are fastest at most online casinos, and the same is true here. The site says these should be instant. Meanwhile, bank card payments take longest. Anything up to five business days.
Yes. I’m confident that Fruta Casino is safe to use, and your data will be secure. The site makes good use of cutting-edge Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology which protects sensitive information like passwords and payment details. This prevents all unauthorised access.
Yes, Fruta Casino is legitimate. It is owned by Happy Hour Solutions Ltd and operates under gambling licenses issued by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. License numbers are HKL000374 (issued on 17 December 2021) and HKT000063 (issued on 4 November 2021).
The minimum withdrawal at Fruta Casino for e-wallets, cryptocurrencies, and vouchers is $20, with the exception of AstroPay, which allows for a minimum withdrawal of $10. Examples of e-wallets you can use are Skrill, Neteller, and MuchBetter. And these have the added bonus of being the fastest methods for getting your funds out.
There are several ways to contact Fruta Casino. You can do so via live chat during a 17-hour window each day. There’s also help available through email at support@fruta.com. Be sure to check the site’s FAQs area too. You may find the answer to your questions there, without needing to reach out.
