Brought to us by the powerhouse that is LeoVegas, 21.co.uk looks to be a more boutique affair. Launched in 2013, it’s had plenty of time to get established. But the site doesn’t seem to be striving for the size and success of its sibling.
So why 21.co.uk? That’s what I’m looking to find out. I’m taking a deep dive here, ready to unearth what this casino is (and maybe isn’t) doing well at. And now I’m ready to report back in this 21.co.uk casino review.
We’ll start with the bonuses. Gentle nudge that there’s one waiting to be claimed right here on this very page.

In my eyes, promos were a mixed bag at 21.co.uk. A welcome bonus that had me very excited was followed up by very little thereafter. And the total absence of any loyalty or VIP perks.
The usual word of warning before I go into detail. Bonuses change often. So while I’m going to describe some of what I found to you, there’s no promise it’s still there when you arrive. But it’s still helpful for getting a taste of how generous (or ungenerous) a casino is.
I got a welcome package when I joined 21.co.uk. And it was actually pretty unique. Let me explain.
First there was the classic 100% deposit match. That’s neither here nor there, I thought. The sort of welcome bung I’ve claimed a hundred times over. But that’s until I clocked the that a 40x the deposit amount wagering requirement needs to be fulfilled at the live casino. And that’s to be done before the match funds dropped.
Now bear with me for sounding so excited about a wagering requirement. But it’s so rare to get to build this up on anything but slots. Most sites count the live games out of wagering altogether. If you love live casino as much as I do, 21.co.uk will already be making waves with this.
That’s not all. I also got a few quid in chips to play on live games. These dropped as soon as the qualifying deposit was made. Things can obviously change, but it seems to be like 21.co.uk put the live lobby in the frame with their welcome bonuses. And that feels fresh!
From a high to a low. Things looked to dry up pretty fast at 21.co.uk once that welcome bung is done. Checking the promos page over the course of a few days didn’t leave me with anything to get excited about. There was notice about a couple of jackpot challenges that could be opted into. But it’s hard to see these as anything other than part of their respective games. They aren’t promos in the proper sense, not in my book. There aren’t even any weekly free spins offers or the like.
I couldn’t find any official loyalty scheme at 21.co.uk. Sometimes there’s the hope of the mystic, secretive VIP Programme. Where you might just get a tap on the shoulder after playing at the site for a certain time, or wagering high enough. But with an ear to the ground, I’ve heard nothing at all. So don’t get your hopes up.
With only the welcome bonus to talk about, I can’t really offer a full picture here. But I can say that the 40x wagering requirement is reasonable. Slightly on the higher end of things, but it does at least come without time constraints. Basically, if you opted in within seven days of joining and made the £10 minimum deposit, you’ll get your funds eventually. They’ll drop once you’ve wagered whatever 40x that first deposit was.
Where sister site LeoVegas boasts endless thousands of games, 21.co.uk is aiming for a more curated approach.
Landing at the lobby I could immediately see quality. Plenty of games I know and love, alongside the work of providers I trust. There are separate sections for Live Casino and Casino. The latter being RNG table games and slots. And within each of the two are tabs to narrow your search. Popular and New Games are always good places to start.
What the lobby is missing are filters and a search bar. This means that if you have a specific title or category in mind, you have to go digging. This frustrated me a little.
Table Games have their own tab in the Casino section of the lobby. There’s good variety, with variants of all the classics here in health numbers. I spotted roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, and a scattering of gameshows. Obviously, you’re going to be drawn to the Vinnie Jones titles. Quite rightly, too. But do explore the rest of the library.
I’d recommend:
Slots are a weird one at 21.co.uk. I’m not used to seeing a site that puts them on the backburner like this, when they’re the main event most places. Live casino is very much the main event here.
So I was surprised to see the site has so many slots. They must still make up north of 4/5ths of all the games at 21.co.uk. It might not be where the vibes are, but this is still a slot-centric casino with some of the best casino slots in the UK.
The lack of search and filter did get frustrating when looking for slots. Though some tabs like Gigantic Jackpots and Classic Slots offer good collections to browse.
I had a great time playing these slots on mobile:
There’s an unusually strong focus on live casino at 21.co.uk, as hinted by the sign up package. It’s a welcome change from the dominance of slots.
Not only is the live casino given its own lobby, but another promising sign is that there are exclusive tables. Just hit the right tab to view these. You can also see tabs for roulette and blackjack. And then online casino poker and baccarat are paired together.
One thing I loved. On the game icon, many of the live titles will display how many other players are currently inside. It means you can find busy (but not full) rooms easily.
For somewhere to start, try:
I’ve got to give props when a site offers exclusives. That this casino runs its own live roulette room has me impressed. It’s in the hands of OnAir Entertainment and follows the format of French Roulette. Bets start from 50p and there’s full chat functionality between you, the dealer, and other players. It’s as engaging a live roulette experience as I’ve found anywhere.
There is an app for 21.co.uk, and it’s available in both Apple and Google’s app stores.
I downloaded it to my iPhone 13 Pro and was happy with what I found. The site’s fuss-free graphic design is perfect for mobile, really. Everything looks crisp and the games ran smoothly the entire time.
Personally, I prefer an app. But some people don’t like it taking up storage space and home screen real estate on their devices. If that’s you, I’m glad to report that the browser site does the job. Does it well, in fact. You’d struggle to pick at many differences from the desktop version. It’s all optimised just right. So I’ll leave the choice with you.
Given the number of games on the site, the list of software providers turned out longer than I expected. There are north of 60, which is the sort of roster you’d see at the bigger online casinos. Names you know include Evolution and Big Time Gaming.
It’s a shame that the lack of filters in the lobby mean you can’t see games from specific providers. But the site does show the name of each provider beneath each game. So it is easy to keep an eye out for studios you know and like. Of those you that might be new to you, I’d like to recommend Yggdrasil and Push Gaming.
There aren’t a huge number of payment methods accepted at 21.co.uk Casino. But those that are there do cover a few key bases. You’ll find options for debit cards, bank transfers, and just one e-wallet. Apple Pay is here, but not its rival Google.
The minimum deposit via all payment methods is £10. And the exact same is true for withdrawals. It’s refreshing to see a site keep things so simple on this.
Though maybe I spoke too soon. The figures for maximum deposits and withdrawals vary wildly depending on your payment method. For deposits, they range from £1,000 with Apple Pay up to £10,000 by bank transfer. Withdrawals are wilder still, with a cap of £4,000 for PayPal all the way up to £35,000 for Bank Transfer. So, as always, I suggest you check the site’s terms before settling on a payment method.
The site terms say you should expect to leave up to five business days before you get any withdrawals. But frankly, they’re covering for themselves here. Most won’t take anywhere near that. I got my Apple Pay withdrawal in just over 24 hours.
I found getting started at 21.co.uk Casino nice and easy. Here’s how it goes:
IMPORTANT. Your welcome package may need to be added manually. And you have seven days from the moment you create your account to claim it. Otherwise, it’s gone forever. Go straight to the promotions page after signing up and check you’re opted in.
Safety first, as the saying goes.
Thankfully it’s not something you need to worry about at 21.co.uk. This site fully checks out. It falls under the licence of LeoVegas Gaming PLC, which is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 39198. Bodies like this one ensure casinos play by the rules, with tight security, fair games, and transparency for us players.
eCOGRA test the games here. They check that game outcomes are genuinely random, and that all of us have a reasonable chance of winning.
21.co.uk are clear that they comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They use encryption to keep your personal and financial data locked down tight.
As part of its licensing conditions, 21.co.uk has to agree to verify your identity at some point. They need to be sure you’re above board. That you are who you say you are, are old enough to play, and aren’t trying anything dodgy.
The site says that ‘point’ will come when certain thresholds are met. For example, if you try make a withdrawal of a certain size, or when your total withdrawals pass a certain benchmark. These checks can even be random, or trigger if there’s anything suspicious about your account. So be prepared.
You’ll get a notification by email telling you it’s time to submit documents. Go to your profile on the site, tap Account Overview, then any required documents will be listed under verify Account. You can upload right here. You may be asked to provide:
Once they’re sent off, and assuming all is well, you’ll be verified fast. I was good to go in a matter of hours.
21.co.uk knock it out of the park on responsible gambling. I can’t think of a single tool for managing play and spending that this site doesn’t offer. They’ve got the full suite.
This is a huge green flag in my eyes. I’m always telling people to judge a casino on how it approaches responsible gambling. Any top casino online will do a good job on this.
Deposit, wagering, and loss limits are available daily, weekly, or monthly. Session limits and reality checks are there to help manage your time. Time outs are available from one day to six weeks. Then self-exclusion kicks in as an option from six months up to five years.
There’s not much more to say. This is top stuff from 21.co.uk.
I can’t tell you how annoying it is when an otherwise good site falls down on customer support. It really matters.
Thankfully, 21.co.uk isn’t that. I guess this is where the backing of the LeoVegas machine comes into all its glory. No doubt support teams are shared. And that means the service at 21.co.uk casino goes well beyond what you’d expect for a site of its size.
There’s the 24/7 live chat, which should be your first port of call at any casino. I’m 90% certain I got put through to a chatbot first. But it wasn’t long until a real person took the reins. They were able to solve my problems, and all their responses were fast.
There’s also support by email. As you’d expect, it’s slower. But I’m reluctant to call it slow. I got a reply within 24 hours, which is faster than what many other sites promise.
There is a Help Centre with FAQs. It’s a little weird. You’re pushed to throw your question into the search bar, and the list of results spat out isn’t always a great match. Try using the categories below instead.
21.co.uk’s been put together by people who know what they’re doing. And it shows. The site looks the part and has all the sheen of a serious outfit. This is backed up by the selection of games, and the software providers behind them.
I was super pleased with the commitment to responsible gambling here. I can’t emphasise enough what a green flag this is. And you could barely fault the customer support. Maybe make specific FAQs easier to find, but that’s just me nitpicking.
What didn’t I like? A quick fix is that I want a search bar and filters for finding games. I’m not always in the mood to go scrolling and swiping. But the bigger issue here is the lack of promos once you get past the welcome package. It’s a shame, because you feel unrewarded for sticking around at an otherwise fantastic little site.
With so much right, I’m still happy to give 21.co.uk my backing. If they could just drop some perk points or the odd weekly promo, it’d be flowers.
Wagering requirements centred on the live casino, instead of the usual slots. If the site can just dish out more promos on this basis, it’ll be onto something special.
The minimum deposit is £10. This applies across all the accepted payment methods. There are however maximum deposit amounts, and these are different depending on the method used. They range from £1,000 at a time all the way up to £10,000.
Yes, totally. It’s licensed by the UK Gambling Commission as part of LeoVegas Gaming PLC. This is one of the biggest and best regarded names in the business. Conditions of that licence include protecting customer data, ensuring games are fair, and transparency of terms to customers. The site wouldn’t keep its licence if it failed in these areas.
Yes, entirely so. While it’s not a huge name among UK casino players, 21.co.uk a partner site to LeoVegas. The site is covered under that licence. Further legitimacy is ensured by the fact games are tested by eCOGRA. This third-party organisation checks that games are truly random and offer reasonable chances of a win.
The site insists that withdrawals via any method can take up to five business days, and don’t give much info beyond that. But it’s a matter of fact that the payment method used will affect the time it takes. E-wallets are generally fastest, so go with PayPal if you want the quickest withdrawals.
The minimum withdrawal here is £10 across all payment methods. It’s maximum withdrawals where things get a little trickier. These range from £4,000 at a time when using PayPal. All the way up to £35,000 a go when using bank transfer. Check the site’s terms for yourself to be sure.
If you already have an account, the best way to do so is via live chat. This way you’ll get responses within a matter of minutes. Otherwise, get in touch with the support team through email at support@21.co.uk. There’s also a Help Centre that may hold answers to any pressing questions.
