Launched back in 2006, NetBet is certainly no newcomer in the online casino space. Perhaps better known for sports betting - and spotted on the shirts of teams like Saint Etienne and West Brom - you'd be wrong to count this site's casino offering out. With so many years in the business, you'd best believe these guys know what they're doing.
But, if we're being honest, how does NetBet shape up against the best online casinos in the UK? See, that's what I'm here to tell you in this NetBet review. And if you're new to this site yourself, don't miss the NetBet casino bonus I've dug out for you. If you're happy to dive straight in with NetBet, you can follow the link from this page and see your promo added automatically.

Things are super competitive between UK online casinos. Any of the sites serious about winning your custom will offer bonuses and promos to entice you to do so. Those that don't get left behind. And the good news is that NetBet has seen sense here, and have plenty in the way of bungs for new and existing players. So before we get into the details, here are a few things you need to know about NetBet bonuses.
While the restrictions around e-wallets are a little disappointing, everything else about the bonuses at NetBet is fairly standard industry practice. So what sort of promos are running?
At any given time there'll always be a welcome package for new joiners at NetBet. What's involved will vary from time to time. Free bonus spins are a very common feature, unsurprisingly so given the site's focus on slot games. I've also seen a deposit match offer from time to time. These are commonplace at online casinos, but seem to crop up more rarely than most at NetBet. When I signed up to make this review, I managed to claim 25 free spins no deposit - but I shoud tell you that this promo is no longer running.
The current NetBet welcome bonus is displayed on this page. It's a mighty 500 free spins when you make your first deposit of £10 or more. The spins come with a maximum stake of £5, and you'll need to meet 40x wagering requirements before you can withdraw what you've won. Full terms and conditions apply.
NetBet has a pretty solid offering as far as the live games go. But when I joined up and did my research for this review, I didn't spot any promos that could be used on the live titles.
As I mentioned before, NetBet provides a fully-fledged sports betting site alongside the casino. The sportsbook here usually offers up a lucrative deposit match bonuses or a tranche of extra funds - provided you're a new joiner. I found you may well need to enter a promo code to select this specific welcome offer. And be warned - you only get one welcome package, so opting for something focused on the sportsbook may mean you lose out at the casino. Still, if you are more about sports betting then I'd encourage you to check what NetBet are offering on that side of things.
When you join up at this online casino, you automatically enter the Players Club. Nice as that is, it's not exactly an 'exclusive' VIP experience preserved for the most loyal of guests. Still, I won't dwell on that too much because it is plenty rewarding.
Every time you place a wager, you earn NetPoints. Each game type rewards a different amount of these points. And once you rack up a decent bank of them, you can use NetPoints to unlock awesome rewards like bonus funds.
There is a tier system, and the more NetPoints you collect over a month, the higher rank you earn. Those tiers are bronze, silver, gold, diamond, platinum, stellar and elite. Levelling up can help you collect NetPoints faster and unlock better rewards. Making purchases with your NetPoints doesn’t affect your tier ranking, meaning you can claim bonuses while still reaping the tier benefits.
All in all, I found NetBet’s scheme more rewarding than the VIP programmes of many of this site's rivals. So good job on this one.
Pretty much every promo I saw here comes with 40x wagering requirements. That's a touch above where I'd like it to be, but not at all out of line with standard industry practice. I also found that the time given for you to complete wagering requirements can vary. With the welcome package I claimed, I only had seven days. That's super tight - and all but the most regular players would struggle to meet that.
My recommendation? Really suss out the terms and conditions on a NetBet bonus. Some will be well worth your time, others probably not. It varies.
Credit where it's due - there are stacks, and stacks, and stacks of games at NetBet. If you were looking for numbers, you've found them. Titles across all categories and from all the best software providers are present here.
One thing I loved was the “Spin it” button teasing me at the bottom of the screen. Hitting this spun a wheel and brought up a random game that I could then launch immediately. It's a cracking little idea if you're looking to branch out and trying something new.
Otherwise, here's what to expect at NetBet in a bit more detail.
While there isn’t a defined table games area at NetBet Casino, you'll soon find the right titles by flicking through the tabs. The site files its RNG table titles through the game category, be it blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and so on. All of these games are well served with multiple variants of each. These aren’t the same old variants either, but exciting titles like Dr Fortuno Blackjack - a progressive jackpot blackjack game that I can't get enough of.
Slots are clearly where NetBet have put their focus, and you'll hear no complaints from me about that. There are quite literally thousands of slot games to choose from here. Some come with innovative features such as a “like system” and 10-minute jackpots. What's more, top titles are provided by industry-leading software developers, including NetEnt, Microgaming, and Play’n GO.
This selection doesn’t just cram as many titles as possible into one page, either. It's a lineup of genuinely high-quality games for the most part, with all bases suitably covered. If you’re looking for a way to judge a particular game’s quality, NetBet make that easy. Just mouse over one of its games and you’ll see its ‘like’ tally that comes from other players. I'm not sure I've ever seen this before at an online casino - and I'm totally won over by it! Seeing so directly what fellow players think is a great way to ensure you use your bankroll on the very best slot titles.
Jackpot seekers are well looked after too - need I mention Mega Moolah and Wheel of Wishes? But if you're not after million-pound payouts, I'd totally recommend the 10-minute jackpot games. These are like classic progressive jackpot slots, but with a 10-minute time limit before someone is sure to land a win. It keeps things really exciting.
With over 130 live games, NetBet is actually a pretty solid live dealer casino. The focus may have been on slots, but I'm not even sure NetBet know the riches they're hiding in the live section. 'Live Casino' is one of the tabs in the main lobby, though you may need to scroll the bar across before you see it. Once you open it, you'll see baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and gameshows are all here in good numbers. There are even tables with unique themes, like Brazilian Roulette. For me it was the gameshow titles where this live dealer section really shone, thanks to the likes of Lightning Dice and Mega Ball.
Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza certainly catches the eye. Optimised for both PC and mobile, this slot runs a classic 6x5 grid and throws in plenty of twists and turns to keep things exciting. You get a payout by matching eight or more symbols anywhere on the grid, while tumbling reels can drop multiple wins off the back of the last. That's all on the same stake. With an RTP of 96.48% and medium volatility, it hits all the sweet spots for me. Ba dum tss.
NetBet's a fully-fledged online gambling platform, which is why you can easily access the site on your all devices. And how you ultimately to do so is up to you.
There is a NetBet casino app, available right now in both Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store. What's interesting - and make sure you don't let this confuse you when downloading - is that there's a casino app distinct from the sportsbook app. This is a really good sign. I've seen far too many platforms try pack games into an app clearly built around sports betting. That never ends well. NetBet have not made this mistake.
An app is always good news, but it's not essential here. Loading up your mobile browser, you can easily find the NetBet mobile casino site and access almost every game and online slot machine from any connected smartphone or tablet. Via HTML5 technology, NetBet Casino has developed an optimised site that will fit any screen size. So whether you use a browser or the app, it's the same good quality experience.
It's a mark of a casino's quality to see which software providers have their games present. A combination of the biggest and most recognised names, along with a few innovative upstarts, is my mark of a successful site. On that basis, NetBet scores well. Names you'll know like Microgaming, NetEnt and IGT are all here. With over 50+ providers in total, you can expect to see some new and innovative titles once you delve past the top-ticket brands.
Depositing and making withdrawals at NetBet Casino is nice and easy. And the good news there are lots of ways to do it. But this is not without one big and important caveat, which I'll get onto. In the meantime, here are the payment methods that were being accepted when I conducted this review:
Now that caveat? NetBet are super picky about e-wallets and bonuses coming into collision. They're not wrong to, as there have been some valid security concerns. So make sure you stick to conventional wallet options whenever using a promo, including the welcome package.
It does somewhat beg the question why so many e-wallets are accepted when the site is clearly uncomfortable about them.
It took me just a matter of minutes to get set up at NetBet, and I see no reason why I'd take you any longer. Here's what I did:
NetBet is a trusted online gambling provider with decades of experience in the industry. NetBet Casino rightly holds a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence (39170), which requires strict testing and regulation at all times. That's along with licences from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. There should be no doubts about legitmacy here.
As I said, NetBet is not just an online casino but also a sportsbook, poker and lottery operator. If you think getting regulated for an online casino is hard, all of those combined require the highest standards, which I've every confidence this site meets.
While we're on security; Fort Knox would be jealous of all the measures NetBet Casino has in place to keep its customers safe. That includes top-notch SSL encryption technology and more to make sure your financial and personal data is safely stored. All the payment options accepted at NetBet are as safe and secure as the site itself, from bank transfers to e-wallets. NetBet is one of a smaller number of pay by phone casinos in the UK, which is a great way to add funds to your account anonymously should you have any lingering security concerns. You never input your own details at the casino. A pay by phone provider you've signed up with (such as with Zimpler and Boku casinos payments) manages the payment and charges the amount to your monthly phone bill.
All these security measures and accreditation are backed up by a vast responsible gambling section that offers links to supporting organisations. That's alongside features like self-exclusion, time outs, and deposit limits. I'm happy to say this casino meets what's expected of it here.
You can access NetBet Casino’s Help Centre FAQs at any time in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. The site organises the topics within the FAQ page into sections that break down further when you hover over the section icon. There's also a handy search bar tool that helps you find advice on particular issues. I found it easy to get right to what I needed to know.
If you want to speak directly to the NetBet customer support team, head to the “Contact Us” page. Here, you have the option to fill out a form and get a response by email or contact the live chat team. The team is available from 09:00 to 23:00 GMT.
Whenever I made contact in these hours, I heard back in a matter of minutes. So this is definitely the way to go if you're in need of support. It's just a shame the service isn't 24/7. Lots of casinos do offer that now, but not NetBet.
The NetBet brand may be better known for its sports betting or online poker, but the online casino may just be its best product. And I'm not sure they even know it themselves.
There are tons of unique little points that make this site stand out, particularly the “like system”, 10-minute jackpots, and “Spin it”. Any casino that thinks outside the box like this should be applauded. And NetBet returns the applause through its Players Club programme where you'll get a healthy stream of rewards.
While certain online casino features are well planned out, I still encountered a few issues, including messy parts of the site design. Games could be easier to find. I also wish I could use my Payz account for deposits here and not be locked out of the bonuses - even if I do understand why some sites take this step. The wagering requirements are a bit of a let down, too.
Even with a few small flaws, this is one of the best online casinos I've come across. NetBet casino gets my seal of approval for its outside-the-box thinking.
I keep banging on about it don't I? But those 10-minute jackpot slots. Genuinely so much fun. I'd come back again and again just for those, even if I wasn't totally wowed by the promos.
Of course, you can deposit using British Pounds at NetBet Casino. All you have to do is visit the deposit/withdrawals section of the site and choose your payment method. Then deposit at least £10, and you will have your GBP in your account and ready to use.
The minimum deposit at NetBet Casino is £10, no matter what payment method you use. Most payment method deposits will hit your account instantly, except those made by wire transfer. Each payment option has a different maximum deposit, ranging from £400 to £800,000.
A wide range of payment methods are available to customers in the UK, including traditional banking options like bank cards and wire transfers. There are also loads of e-wallets, with popular brands like PayPal, Skrill, Payz, Google Pay and Apple Pay. There are also more specialised payment methods like Paysafecard.
NetBet welcomes you to play slots and games in demo mode for free at NetBet Casino. You must be signed out of your account to do so. Click on a game and then select the demo mode button. You’ll be able to spin reels and hit wins, but you won’t earn any money to withdraw.
