Crime Busters Pledge to Keep Working Following £1M Win on the National Lottery

A pair of crime-busting police officers have said that they will continue to work despite winning a very handsome £1m. Winning such a large amount is something often associated with the best sites for casino games.

The married couple, who both serve in the police force, have compromised a little by saying that they might like to reduce their working hours.

Katherine (36) and Graham White (35) scooped the £1m prize to become joint millionaires.

Plans for Trip to Disneyland

Mr and Mrs White from Cambridge have also said that they would like a dog, a house in the countryside, and a trip to Disneyland in Florida.

The couple have two children and said that they believed it was important for the children to see their parents still working.

Suspicious of Scams

As police officers, they come across their fair share of scams, so when Mr. White told his wife they had won, her police training kicked in and she was slightly suspicious.

The couple heard the news when they were out shopping.

Looking Forward to Peace in the Countryside

They are now looking forward to finding a new home in a rural setting where they can keep goats, chickens, a dog, and no doubt, take a break from the important work of crime busting.

Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
