The London Casino & Gaming Show (LCG) is set to be a pivotal event for the London land based casinos and the sector overall, offering numerous advantages for industry professionals.
Focused on meeting the specific needs of brick-and-mortar casinos, this boutique exhibition will take place alongside the established EAG 2025 at London’s ExCeL from January 14-16, a week prior to the renowned ICE event.
Show chairman Martin Burlin emphasised that LCG is designed to create a focused environment exclusively for the land-based sector, intentionally differentiating itself from online gambling. By catering specifically to traditional casino operators, LCG promises a more intimate experience where attendees can engage meaningfully with suppliers without the overwhelming scale often associated with larger shows.
Burlin said: “We are not attempting to run a show for the internet gambling industry, which will make LCG a much more bijou event.”
The website states: “EAG’s new casino arena will deliver a unique exhibition experience to buyers: more casino venue than trade show floor, the ambience will match the style of a casino with lighting, sound and ambience that reflects the quality of the higher stakes adult gaming venues.”
John Doe, the CEO of Intergame, expressed excitement about launching this new show in London. “This is a fantastic opportunity for casinos to showcase their latest products and services, connect with industry peers, and stay ahead of the curve in an ever-changing industry.”
ExCeL London has unveiled a new dedicated immersive entertainment district set to be the largest in the UK. The new district will include:
As a major global gambling hub, LCG is easily accessible for industry professionals. The location allows for significant attendance from North American operators and others looking to engage in a European setting prior to the ice-breaking ICE show in Barcelona.
Rather than competing with ICE, LCG complements it by providing a “pocket-sized taster” that highlights the unique offerings of the land-based sector. This supplementary event ensures a rich experience without the fatigue that can come from larger exhibitions.
Key benefits of attending LCG include:
Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
