Jogo Global, a big name in both brick-and-mortar and mobile casinos, has announced a major deal with ITV Studios.
This exciting partnership means Jogo could get to integrate beloved TV shows with their ‘fast games’ series. So, who knows, we might be getting an ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ or ‘Love Island’ slot sometime soon, transforming top TV shows into gaming gold.
David Marcus, CEO of Jogo Global, shared his excitement about the deal with ITV Studios: “The fast games category continues to go from strength to strength and to be able to build new titles around the IP of shows such as The Voice and Love Island is very exciting.
"We cannot wait to bring these games to market”.
ITV Studios’ SVP of Gaming, Steve Watling, also expressed optimism for the deal: “The team at Jogo Global has a track record for taking highly valued IP and combining it with clever concepts to deliver compelling gaming experiences and this collaboration, alongside global operators, will open opportunities in new and established markets.”
Jogo Global isn’t new to the scene of transforming TV magic into casino games. They’ve previously teamed up with Banijay Brands, agreeing to a deal to integrate big-name TV shows like Deal or No Deal, Fort Boyard, and MasterChef into their games.
This collaboration, established in September last year, marked a significant milestone for Jogo, allowing them to blend popular Banijay titles into their innovative gaming portfolio.
ITV Studios isn't new to the gaming scene either. They've turned hits like Coronation Street and Emmerdale into online bingo games with Playtech's help.
These bingo rooms have been quite a hit, showing how TV-show based games can draw in crowds with their unique mix of novelty and nostalgia. It's this kind of success that lays a great groundwork for ITV's new project with Jogo Global, hinting at more exciting, TV-inspired games on the horizon.
Fast games are a new kind of casino game created by Jogo Global for players to enjoy online, on mobile devices, and in person.
Designed to be immersive, these exciting new games let multiple players join in, are full of ways to interact socially, and come with lots of different fun game types:
After years working as a national newspaper and magazines journalist in the UK, and a former assistant sports editor, Richard has worked almost exclusively in the iGaming industry since 2017. Helping assemble and lead a content team providing articles to one highly-regarding gambling business, and writing countless pieces for others, we're delighted to have him on board. Outside of the gambling world, Rich is a keen sports fan, has picked golf back up again after 20 years and managed not to throw his pitching wedge into the water after duffing another chip (yet!).
