Odds on Celebrities Appearing in Celebrity Dating Naked UK

Reality TV shows have come thick and fast in the 2010s and 2020s, and just when you think TV bosses are running out of ideas, another surprise series is released.

Step forward (without any clothes on) Dating Naked UK. This brand-new dating show, which airs on Paramount+ this summer, will see 10 naked singletons strip off as they search for the man or woman of their dreams. They will head to a tropical South American paradise to live and get to know one another, all while in the buff.

The only person who won't be naked in the villa is the show's presenter, Rylan Clark. Rylan has admitted he "felt left out" while dressed up in his suits, and he was even jealous of the naked contestants because it was so hot in Colombia during filming.

While Dating Naked UK could lead to some of the contestants becoming household names, Rylan has hinted there could even be a star-studded version of the show to come. 

He told The Sun newspaper: "It definitely lends itself to a celebrity version. When we were in Colombia, someone texted me asking how it was going and she went, 'Do you think they’ll ever do a celeb version?'. I was with the bosses of Paramount+ so I said, 'Would we?'. And they went, 'If this is a success, of course we would.' My mate was like, 'I’d do it'.

"So I’ve already started the list and planting seeds. Trust me, I could assemble a crack team of daters." added Rylan.

Helen Could Bear All

One star who is no stranger to going undie-less on a TV dating show is Helen Flanagan. The former Coronation Street actress is currently taking part in E4's Celebs Go Dating, and the star admitted during a conversation with Made in Chelsea's Tristan Phipps that she had gone without underwear to find a potential match on the show.

When asked how she was getting on while trying to find Mr. Right, Flanagan explained on the series: "I did say, 'I'm not wearing any knickers,' because I was sitting down and was aware of it." 

Following Helen's nude admission, she is a 5/4 favourite to take part in a Celebrity Dating Naked UK—if one ever comes to fruition.

Other current or former Celebs Go Dating stars who might be up for it include Love Island star Chloe Burrows (3/1). Since shooting to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2021, Chloe has gone on to appear in several reality TV shows, including Celebrity MasterChef this summer, but she has already exited the culinary competition.

Chloe is clearly up for trying out daring new celebrity reality shows, following her stint as a contestant on Scared of the Dark last year, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see plenty of her on show in a Celebrity Dating Naked UK.

What's more, singer Jamelia (4/1) and former Love Island star Chris Taylor (5/1) are two of this year's Celebs Go Dating stars who could make the shift to Dating Naked UK if they fail to find The One this summer.

Feltz To Strip Off? 

It would certainly be interesting to know which of Rylan's female friends he was referring to when he admitted one of his showbiz pals had already expressed an interest in a celebrity version of Dating Naked UK.

One star Rylan could've been talking about is Vanessa Feltz, and the TV presenter is 13/8 second favourite to take part in a celebrity version of Dating Naked UK. Vanessa is never afraid to speak her mind, but she could let her body do the talking instead on this show. What's more, she's no stranger to a dating show after appearing on last year's Celebs Go Dating, following her split from her partner of 16 years, Ben Ofoedu.

Another of Rylan's pals he could've been talking about is his This Morning co-host, Josie Gibson. As a roving reporter on the brunchtime show, she has taken the plunge in numerous courageous challenges—so could Celebrity Dating Naked UK be next?

Josie, who is 2/1 to take part in the programme, is good friends with the host and previously admitted she wanted to find a "straight Rylan". Speaking on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year, she said, "I like a goatee, Rylan. I like them tall, Rylan. And I like them with a nice bit of hair, Rylan. And I like them with nice eyes, Rylan. Everything just screams Rylan, but I don't think he's barking up my tree."

Earlier this year, Josie was questioned about being romantically linked to fellow TV presenter Stephen Mulhern, but she played down such speculation and insisted they are "really good friends."

TV Hosts To Let Loose?

Another daytime TV presenter who could be in contention for a Dating Naked UK appearance is Susanna Reid.

The Good Morning Britain presenter previously dated Steve Parish, who is chairman of her beloved Crystal Palace FC, but she is just 5/2 to swap Selhurst Park for a Colombian villa.

What's more, fellow morning TV presenter Eamonn Holmes recently confirmed he and Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford are to divorce. While he has been linked to another woman on social media, Eamonn is 20/1 to bear all on a celebrity version of Dating Naked UK, and former Love Island star Tommy Fury, who recently split from his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, is 12/1 to take part.

But what about Rylan himself?

At 33/1, it seems unlikely he would appear in Celebrity Dating Naked UK because, for one, it's doubtful he would want to give up his hosting duties on a star-studded version of the show.

However, far stranger things have happened in the world of reality TV. For example, who would've thought 25 years ago that such a show would even exist?
