Odds on Where Katie Price’s Next Song Will Chart and Who She Will Collaborate With

Brace yourselves, music fans—Katie Price could be re-entering the charts soon.

The reality TV star is no stranger to a go at the Top 20 after she and ex-husband Peter Andre's collaboration A Whole New World peaked at number 12 in the Official UK Singles Chart in 2006 and their joint album A Whole New World hit number 20 on the Official Albums Chart.

In 2010, Katie returned to music with the solo song Free to Love Again, which reached number 60 on the singles chart.

The star recently took to Instagram to tease a return to the stage, writing, "Singing has always been my dream and finally I get to be around singing. My comeback has started so you'll be invited to my next invite [heart emoji] (sic)."

On a picture of her single Free to Love Again, she asked fans, "Who else loves this song?"

Katie's comments have sparked speculation about where her next release could chart and who she might collaborate with.

KP's Kerry Or Kids Collabs 

Katie has been good friends with fellow reality TV queen Kerry Katona for years, and the pair recently dropped a huge hint they are to collaborate musically with one another.

Kerry knows all about the charts, having been one of the original members of the girl group Atomic Kitten between 1998 and 2001.

Katie and Kerry appeared in the 2004 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, and they starred alongside each other in the panto Cinderella late last year.

In December, Katie wrote on social media: "25 years of friendship and our first show together after the jungle. I and Kerry have smashed box office sales. Wait for our new single."

Kerry also teased a debut single from her and Katie is "on its way," as she celebrated 25 years of friendship with the star. When forging her music comeback, Katie could also look to two others who are close to her.

During her and Kerry's jungle stint, Katie met singer Peter Andre and she went on to marry the Mysterious Girl hitmaker. The former couple had two kids, Junior and Princess Andre.

Junior is now a singer, boasting more than 537,000 Instagram followers, and Princess has hinted she might follow in her parents and brother's musical footsteps, too.

In June 2023, Princess showed off her vocal capabilities in a stunning duet alongside her mother when the pair blasted out Whitney Houston's song I Have Nothing.

Katie shared the clip on her socials and wrote, "Tuesday tunes with my gorgeous princess." In November, Princess admitted she was keen to embark on a music career at some point.

When a fan asked if she had been working on any songs, she replied, "Not at the moment but potentially in 2025 or 2026."

Princess also told her 738,000 Instagram followers, "So many big plans for 2025. I’m still working on a lot but stay tuned."

Katie is 6/4 to collaborate with Princess, 2/1 to duet with Junior, and it's just 3/1 she sings with both kids on her next release.

Katie Ed-Ing For Music Success

One surefire way of guaranteeing Katie some chart success would be to collaborate with the likes of pop megastar Ed Sheeran. And it's not a new idea.

In 2018, Katie admitted she was keen to record an acoustic album with Perfect hitmaker Ed—to raise money for the British Lung Foundation.

Former Page 3 Girl Katie—who was runner-up in the search for the UK's Eurovision entry in 2005—told The Sun newspaper, "I’m going to bring out another album, purely to make money for the British Lung Foundation, and I want to do acoustic versions."

Encouraging the Shape of You singer to collaborate with her, she said, "Ed, come on."

It's 8/1 that Katie and Ed team up, but she is far more likely to work with previous collaborator Rick Live (5/1) and former X Factor star Scarlett Lee (4/1).

In September 2023, Katie teased her followers that she was in the studio with 2018 talent show contestant Scarlett. She said on TikTok at the time, "You'll know this song. We're doing a cover version and then we will release it in two weeks."

While it wouldn't be a shock to see Katie team up with Scarlett again in the near future, it would be a surprise to see her collaborate with exes Dane Bowers (12/1), Tom Zanetti (33/1), and Peter (50/1). It would be more likely for Katie and her former foe Jodie Marsh—who previously ended their feud—to team up on a song.

Jodie (10/1) is now the owner and founder of animal sanctuary Fripps Farm, and the pair could duet on a charity single together to raise money for the animal rescue centre. 

Top 40 Katie

If Katie is serious about another music comeback attempt, the Celebrity Big Brother winner must be confident she can pull in some chart numbers.

If the star is to collaborate with Kerry or one of her offspring then that would surely increase her chances of a Top 40 hit, which is 7/4. If not, Katie could see herself outside the Top 40 once again, which is just 2/1 second favourite.

However, an unlikely collaboration with the likes of Ed or her ex Peter could see her reach the dizzy heights of the Top 10 (8/1) or Top 20 (5/1).

While that seems unlikely, a number one single (10/1) is an even bigger ask.
