A new reality TV show is rolling into London town next year—and it is already a history-maker.
The Real Housewives of London will be Hayu's first-ever original series and will be produced by the team behind Made in Chelsea and the Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The announcement was revealed at Hayu's recent FanFest, and a message on their official Instagram account read: "Breaking news from #HayuFanFest: Hayu will bring you The Real Housewives of London in 2025! Nobody serves a good cup of tea like the British, and London’s finest are ready to spill it."
For anyone who remembers reality TV series Ladies of London, which spanned three series from 2014 to 2017 and featured the likes of Caprice Bourret and Caroline Stanbury, then Christmas will have come early with his announcement.
And it looks like TV bosses are aiming to make a "classy" production.

A show insider told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Producers want it to bring a sophisticated and refined behind-the-scenes look into London’s most elite socialites and housewives. "They want it to be classy, but also deliver on the US-type drama."
But which London ladies will feature in the new show?
Tamara Ecclestone is said to be among the stars at the top of Hayu's wish list for next year's The Real Housewives of London, as she and husband Jay Rutland are seen as the "perfect" signings.
An insider added to the Sunday Mirror: "Tamara is the frontrunner for them to sign. Execs feel she and her husband Jay Rutland would be just perfect for the cast. They’ve approached various WAGS and big names from the fashion world."
Following the speculation, Tamara, who is no stranger to reality TV after featuring in the 2017 fly-on-the-wall Amazon documentary Tamara's World, is just 10/11 to appear in The Real Housewives of London, and it would be some coup for the new series.

Others who could help to give the programme an initial boost include former Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu (11/10) and ex-Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson (6/4). What's more, British socialite and actress Poppy Delevingne—the sister of model Cara Delevingne—is a 13/8 shot.
Poppy is no doubt another star near the top of bosses' wish lists, and she would bring some added Hollywood glamour to the London-based show.
The Real Housewives of London producers are also said to have approached pop star Frankie Bridge for the new programme. Frankie made her name as a member of S Club Juniors and later in girl group The Saturdays, and she has recently delved into the fashion world.

As well as her glittering career, Frankie is the wife of former England footballer Wayne Bridge, and the pair have two sons, Parker, 11, and Carter, nine. She could certainly bring a footballers' WAG element to the show, despite Wayne having already retired from the beautiful game, and is just 5/2 to take part.
One star who has already dropped a strong hint she is to feature in the programme is party queen and PR guru Fran Cutler (2/1). It has been rumoured that Fran is helming the upcoming series, and she added fuel to the fire that she will be appearing in the programme last month.
Following confirmation of the series, a fan said in a TikTok video: "I can already imagine the opening episode of the franchise featuring a party thrown by Fran."
Never one to miss an opportunity for some positive PR, Fran reposted the TikTok and added the caption, "The secret’s out..."
While The Real Housewives of London will already make history for Hayu, it could also make some more if Caroline Stanbury joins the cast.
The former Ladies of London star is currently part of The Real Housewives of Dubai, and if she joins The Real Housewives of London, she would become the first housewife to appear on two of Real Housewives franchise at once.
It's 3/1 she joins The Real Housewives of London, and influencer and author Lydia Millen (4/1) is also thought to be in demand.
If Hayu are aiming for the top, then they could do worse than approach a Royal to give them a potential ratings boost.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie would more than likely be among those on the dream list, but the siblings are both 100/1 to accept such an offer.
Other more attainable targets could include Made in Chelsea's Sophie Habboo (5/1), ex-Love Island star Olivia Attwood (6/1), and former TOWIE pair Lydia Bright (8/1), and Lauren Pope (10/1).
But Trinny Woodall is a 25/1 outsider to take part after she was said to have rejected the chance to appear in the series.
What's more, Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani and fashion expert Oriona Robb are also said to have been approached about potentially taking part.
But they are both 33/1 to do so, after they were said to have snubbed the series.
