Galileo said “The Book of Nature is written in the language of mathematics”, and gambling games fall within the same principle.
In my youth I loved roulette. I was not a gambler, but was fascinated to see probability theory in action. Since publishing my first books on gambling mathematics and working with the gambling industry, I have realised that the topic is more complex than the formal mathematics behind it. This is how I came to do research in problem gambling as both a mathematician and philosopher of science. I advocate for gamblers to be more exposed to the mathematical facts of gambling and – through my writings, advice, and consultancy – I try to help them acquire an adequate understanding and interpretation of these facts.
My work with Casinos.com is focused on delivering objective information to readers and educating them on the mathematical dimension of gambling so they are better informed on the mathematical and strategic facts of the games they play. I write expert articles and guides on gambling mathematics, strategy, and responsible gambling for the site. I also fact-check and review content, and contribute to editorial projects involving gambling-maths content.
I have published several works on the mathematical aspects of gambling and problem gambling.
Academic journal works on the gambling industry and casino games can be found on my Google Scholar page.
