Double Ball Roulette

Double Ball Roulette Review

Gather here, roulette lovers – here’s an exciting title from the stables of Evolution. Double Ball Roulette is an innovative and unique live roulette game that you can’t find from any other casino software provider. The major distinguishing factor between this game and European Roulette is the two balls.

These two balls deliver two winning numbers from one spin. The Double Ball Roulette rules and strategy are simple. At the push of a button, the live host will shoot the two balls from a unique patented machine. The best part is there are lots of betting opportunities in this game, and the payouts are generous, up to 1300:1. If you’re ready to play Double Ball Roulette online, here’s all you need to know about the game.

Double Ball Roulette Game Design

The Double Ball Roulette game design is just like the regular European Roulette game. Launched in 2016, this title is the only roulette variant with two balls. The game is streamed from a live studio in Malta and Latvia. I love the game’s dark background and handsome male hosts.

Just like the European Roulette, this game features only one zero and plays out on a wheel with colored pockets alternating between black and red. Like traditional roulette, you can decide the outside and inside bets to place, but with two balls, you can effectively double your winning chances. With a 97.30% Return to Player percentage and a 2.70% house edge, you’ll have fun playing this game.

Once a gaming round starts, the dealer will use compressed air to shoot the balls at the same time. However, the balls don't collide with each other, as the second one will trail the first ball by one second. As such, the first ball will land on a pocket first due to the small time gap during the release of the second ball. Once both fall on the same number, you receive double your wins. However, if it falls on a selected number, you’ll get the massive 1300:1 payout.

Like the European Roulette, the game layout is minimalistic, and there's a clear demarcation for outside and inside bets, making gameplay seamless. You’ll find the roulette wheel positioned at the center of the game and the ejector close to the dealer's hand for easy access. As you'd expect from all Evolution casino games, the visual and audio quality is top-notch.

How to Play Double Ball Roulette Online

Evolution teamed up with Games Marketing to create this outstanding live roulette variant. Like the European Roulette, it’s easy to play this remarkable title. However, to enjoy this game online, you need to sign up at a wagering site offering the title, then fund your account and load the game.

Double Ball Roulette online has 37 pockets – numbers 1 to 36 and one zero. I placed my bet by using the chip denominations on the table. After that, the live dealer shot two balls on the roulette wheel. These balls will sit in two pockets, providing double winning chances.

Unlike the 35:1 payout on straight bets you’ll get with regular European Roulette, this game pays 17:1 when one ball falls on your wagered number. When the two balls fall on any number, you get paid 35:1. However, when it falls on selected numbers, you’ll receive a 1300:1 payout. Mind-blowing, right?

Double Ball Roulette Bet Information

Double Ball Roulette offers multiple betting options and numerous ways to win, just like what you’ll find at regular European Roulette. However, there are two notable differences – if two balls land on the same number (regardless of the number), you’ll get a 35:1 payout. Alternatively, if the two balls fall on a selected number, you’ll receive a 1300:1.

Inside Bet Betting Information

For straight-up bets, you can wager on any of the numbers from 0 to 37, and if you win, your payout will be 17:1. However, if you intend to place Split bets, you can wager on two adjacent numbers, and the payout is 8:1. On the other hand, Street bets offer a 5:1 payout as you wager on three numbers in a row.

Corner bets pay out 3.5:1 once you bet on a group of numbers. Lastly, Line bet allows you to bet on six numbers and pays 2:1.

Outside Bet Betting Information

Outside bet payouts are the same as what you’ll find while playing European Roulette. However, both balls must win to receive a payout. For Column Bet, where you wager on an entire column, pays 2:1, while Color Bet, which entails betting on Red or black colors, pays 1:1. Like Column Bet, Dozen bet payout is 2:1. Here, you wager on a group of 12 numbers.

Call Bets

Players can also place Call Bets on Orphelins, Tiers du Cylindre, and Voisins du Zero. These bets allow you to place special bets on certain sections of the roulette wheel, increasing the betting opportunities.

Knowing these payouts and betting limits will help you develop the perfect betting strategy. Also, check your preferred casino's specific rules. Some wagering platforms might have betting limits that are different from what I've mentioned here.

Double Ball Roulette Bonus Features

At this point, you already know Double Ball Roulette is just the regular old European Roulette but with a unique twist. As such, there aren't many bonus features to look forward to. However, I’ll include a few elements and add-ons that made my gameplay exciting below:

Double Ball

The two balls, which is where Evolution coined the game title, are the prominent factor that distinguishes this game from the regular European Roulette. Here, the dealer ejects two balls from the air compressor rather than one ball. If the two balls land on a selected number, the payout will be a massive 1300:1. However, there's a low probability of that happening.

Autoplay

This feature allows me to automatically place wagers for a select number of rounds, allowing me to enjoy gameplay without betting manually.

Favorite Bets

There's an option to save your favorite bets and place them again in future rounds whenever you want, simplifying the betting process.

Statistics Screen

Double Ball Roulette features a statistics screen showing the results of previous wheel spins. With this, you can analyze the gameplay and improve your Double Ball Roulette strategy.

My Experience Playing Double Ball Roulette Live

Playing Double Ball Roulette live at my chosen roulette casino was an exceptional experience. As the name suggests, it’s a regular roulette played with two balls rather than one. As an Evolution live game, the game is streamed from a live studio, delivering an immersive and life-like experience.

Since the game is based on the European Roulette wheel, the Double Ball Roulette game features 37 pockets – the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero, alternating between black and red. Immediately after I placed my bet, the dealer released the two balls into the spinning roulette wheel, which would fall into two pockets.

The aim is to predict where the two balls will land. There are multiple betting options, including specific numbers, number ranges, outside bets, inside bets, odd/even, and colors.

My Experience Playing Double Ball Roulette for Real Money

Double Ball Roulette is a live casino game from Evolution. As such, you can only play it with real money, as there's no demo version. After choosing my preferred wagering site from the most popular online casinos listed on the banners on this page, I funded my account and loaded the game to kick-start gameplay.

The minimum bet for Double Ball Roulette is $0.25, while the maximum depends on your chosen casino. I wagered $10 during the betting window, and after it closed, the dealer released the two balls.

However, to be on the safe side, I chose to place bets in red during my first round. One of the balls entered a red pocket, and I was paid $10 since Color bets have a 1:1 payout. If the two balls had entered, I'd have received double of my money.

After my first round, I joined three more rounds and couldn't hit the jackpot that paid 1300:1 as it was difficult to get. However, I enjoyed multiple small wins that made gameplay exciting. Overall, it was an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Double Ball Roulette Review Summary

Double Ball Roulette is an exciting and unique Roulette variation from the renowned Evolution. This game features two balls rather than one. Hence, the name!

The game mechanics and rules are similar to the regular European Roulette. However, the presence of a second ball changes things a bit as there are more betting options and the payout is different from European Roulette. When the two balls fall into a specific number, the payout is an enormous 1300:1. However, this is a very rare occurrence.

I enjoyed playing Double Ball Roulette, as I've always preferred European Roulette over the American Roulette version. With a high 97.30% RTP and multiple betting options, it was a rewarding experience exploring this game.
