Evolution didn’t deviate much from traditional roulette gameplay for its "Lightning" variant. The main difference is the addition of Lightning Numbers with multipliers, which makes it one of the best casino games for roulette lovers. As an expert player, I’m well-versed in how the wheel game works, so I had no issues playing Lightning Roulette.  

I start by selecting my chip value from the displayed range. With my chips ready, I place them on the betting table according to my predictions. Typically, it’s possible to bet on single numbers, groups of numbers, colors, odd or even, and more. The game allows up to 18 seconds to place bets, which is relatively moderate. After placing my chips, the real excitement begins. 

The live dealer spins the ball and wheel as usual. Then, she also pulls a lever, and lightning strikes between one and five random numbers. The numbers then get multipliers ranging from 50x to 500x. While it happens, I anticipate that one of the numbers I bet on will be struck by lightning. The dealer calls out the figures so you won’t miss them.

7. Even-Money Bets: This is the safest option when betting on Lightning Roulette, and it covers Red/Black, Odd/Even, and 1-18/19-36 bets. Since it’s even money, the payout is 1:1.

The Lightning Numbers feature is the main bonus feature in this Evolution live dealer roulette variant. However, it won’t qualify as a “bonus” since it's primary to the base game. One of the features I find particularly useful in Lightning Roulette is the Racetrack betting table. This additional layout allows wagering on groups of numbers adjacent to the roulette wheel, offering more betting options than the standard table.

I only noticed a few drawbacks while reviewing Lightning Roulette. The primary one is that the 25 maximum chip value might be limiting if you’re a high-stakes player. You’ll need a lot of chips to place a huge bet. Additionally, the Lightning Multipliers only apply to straight-up bets. Despite these minor cons, I found Lightning Roulette innovative and engaging.
