ICE London, established in 1991 as the National Casino Industry Forum, has grown from a small UK-focused gathering into the world’s largest and most significant gaming exhibition.
Renamed the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in 1992, it now attracts over 55,000 attendees and 630 global exhibitors from more than 150 countries annually.
We asked you to send us your photos and comments from the event.
That’s exactly what Ophion Risk’s Managing Director Josie Preston and Security and Surveillance Consultant Laks Mattu did.
Evolving alongside the gaming industry, ICE London expanded beyond land-based casinos to encompass online gambling, sports betting, lotteries, and emerging technologies.

With its comprehensive conferences, seminars, and networking opportunities, the event serves as a vital platform for showcasing innovations, exploring trends, and fostering global business collaborations in the gaming sector.
This year, for the first time, ICE left its longstanding ExCel London home and relocated to the Fira Gran Via Exhibition Centre in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain.
Preston and Mattu were sure not to miss this watershed moment. And they aptly captured the atmosphere and array of fantastic stands at the show that has been lauded across social media.
ICE Barcelona 2025 has set the bar extremely high for gambling-centric events moving forward into 2025 and has certainly evolved from days gone by, now servicing the entire gaming spectrum, with a balance between land-based and digital channels.
It was a whirlwind of showstopping stands, a diverse mix of exhibitors showcasing innovative new products, perfectly encompassing the thrill and excitement of our beloved industry and highlighting the best ‘the business’ has to offer.

We had the opportunity to make some truly interesting connections and establish some promising relationships, signalling exciting times ahead.
Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
