It looks pretty great, but that’s what I expect from Push Gaming. The symbols have character, and those are the details that make these slots truly different from the rest of the crowd. It doesn’t blend in but stands out.

Playing the Big Bite slot is easy. The first thing you need to do is place a bet, with a range from 10c to $100 per spin. If you activate the push bet, it’ll cost you an extra 20%, but it raises your chances of triggering the bonus by almost 60%. It may be worth it. You can go wild with your bets in Big Bite from time to time as the volatility is low. Probably won’t bring much in return, but you never know.

The math model itself is fairly standard. There are 10 symbols in total, with low, mid, and high-paying symbols. The highest payouts are for 5-of-a-kind combinations that pay up to 200x the bet. The boat symbol is a wild that substitutes for other symbols in winning combinations but doesn’t pay on its own.

The bonus round comes with 4 levels, all related to the orcas.

Whenever an orca lands on the reels, it can collect prizes, boost them with the assigned multiplier, and collect them in a special meter. Each upgrade awards 5 extra spins and a higher multiplier, with the available values being x2, x3, x5, and x10.

I have to be frank about this – all fishing-themed slots look the same. But Push Gaming did a good job with this one, creating an immersive slot with cute graphics and ditching the fisherman collector behind. There’s still a collector symbol, mind you, but it’s an orca that fits with the theme, and each of its upgrades nicely boosts the multiplier.

I had fun with the slot game, especially in the bonus round. I managed to upgrade the orca to the 3^rd level, which provided some cool wins. I have to say that the low to medium volatility pays off. I couldn’t trigger the bonus round naturally, though, so I ended up using the bonus buy feature – the one with the 3-scatter trigger, which cost a decent 43x the bet.

For a slot with low to medium volatility, the 96.33% RTP is impressive. The slot can deliver solid sums of money if you play responsibly, with the maximum being the Grand jackpot worth 10,000x the bet.

There’s no shortage of fishing-themed slots on the market, so Big Bite has quite the competition. But it trumps most with an interesting theme and excellent visuals and animations. It also has excellent features in the bonus round, and with 5 jackpots in tow, it’s a slot you have to try.
