The slot serves up wins of up to 21,000x your stake, but what else does it have to offer? Join me as I find out in this Clover Craze online slot review. 

Red Tiger normally delivers engaging and unique slot designs, so I was a little disappointed when I loaded up the Clover Craze slot. The game has an extremely generic design, with a green background filling the screen and the reel set populated by pieces of fruit and the titular clovers, bordered in gold with a dark background. 

In terms of a theme, the slot keeps things very simple, sticking with the concept of four-leaved clovers and the luck they supposedly bring. 

The developer has also opted to keep things very simple for the Clover Craze slot base game. The game uses five reels and three rows, allowing players to land wins across 20 paylines. Wins are formed when players land three or more matching symbols across a line. 

Everything you need is conveniently located under the reels, as it is always with Red Tiger online slots. You can adjust the stake, buy a bonus, set the auto spin, and speed up the action with the Turbo option. 

The bonus features were my favorite thing about the Clover Craze slot. As the name might suggest, the action here is based on a variety of Clover symbols. 

First, players should be aware that all Green Clovers in the game are Wilds and will substitute for other symbols to help make wins. If they land on any of the middle three reels, they will expand to fill it. 

Next is the Golden Glover. If you land this on the middle reel, it will trigger one of several bonuses, depending on what accompanies it. Like the Green Clover, it is a Wild. Landing one in the middle of the reel with a Green Clover elsewhere will trigger a Big Golden Clover, which will be 2x3 in size and have a 3x multiplier. 

Landing it with Green Clovers on either side will trigger a giant Clover, which is 3x3 in size and will have a 7x multiplier. If you land one on its own, it will place other Clovers on adjacent reels to make an X shape. 

If the symbol lands with either a 7 or a Bell symbol, it will trigger the Cash Respins. To start the round, the Golden Clover replicates itself on the whole reel. Then, all 7s and Bell symbols turn Golden, with 7s getting a multiplier of 3x and Bells getting 2x. Following this, players get three respins. Every time a new symbol lands, the respins are reset. 

At the end of the round, all wins on the reels are added up and paid out. It is also possible to trigger the other Golden Clover bonuses during this round. 

While I found the design of the Clover Craze slot to be fairly generic, I found myself enjoying the bonus rounds. The respin bonus and the potential to land some good wins during it made the game feel much more interesting. 

The betting range on the Clover Craze slot I tested was $0.20 to $4, which was a low amount that would not do a very good job of accommodating many budgets. 

I tested the slot on desktop and mobile, finding that the simple design of the game had no issues transitioning to the smaller screen size.

Clover Craze is a bit of a mixed bag of a slot. On the one hand, the gameplay features are quite fun, with the respin round combined with the Clover Wild offering some good gameplay sequences, but on the other, it has an incredibly generic design and theme and is not likely to grab a lot of attention.
