I have to say – Dragon’s Dawn looks on par with some fantasy-themed video games. It looks like a LoL game or a DOTA 2. The graphics are truly 3D, and the developer has done a great job designing the character to the slightest detail. The Gandalf-like wizard on the left side has a mystic staff with a glowing orb that he uses to trigger modifiers. A dragon can be seen flying on the right side, with a castle in the background.

Everything looks high quality and polished. From the visuals to the animations and the sound effects, the slot looks and feels amazing to play. The controls are all beneath the reels for easy access, so regardless of your favorite device, you’ll have no trouble playing it. As for the symbols, it features four scary dragons as well as a slew of gems that reward amazing prizes.

Playing the Dragon’s Dawn slot is very easy. The first thing you need to do is adjust your bet, which can be done with the tool in the lower right corner. It’s set at a minimum of 10c to start with, but you can as high as $50 per spin in small increments. Before you start the game, it’ll ask you to activate the Super Wheel multiplier, which is a side bet in the form of a live show game with an extra 5,000x to pick up. Unfortunately, it’s not available in the demo play.

Your fantastic journey begins right after you play your first bet. Hit the spin button and cross your fingers for 12-36 dragons as they pay the highest prizes. The slot’s biggest surprise in the bonus round is the incremental multiplier. It starts at x1 in the beginning and grows up by +1 for each subsequent win.

There are also 3 last chance reel modifiers activated by the wizard. These can be triggered in the base game and bonus rounds. They replace symbols on the reel for an extra winning chance.

Lighting Strike

The first modifier is a lightning strike. The wizard will strike up to 6 reels with his staff, with all symbols replaced with a random matching one.

Meteor Shower

The meteor shower sees wilds rain down from the sky, landing in random spots on the reels. Between 3 and 10 wilds will be added to the reels with this feature.

Magic Portal

The wizard’s staff glows purple when this feature is triggered. A portal will appear on the reels and show one of the 12 high-paying symbols that replace others on the reels.

The dragon bonus symbol appears on all reels. You need at least three of these to receive 8 free bonus spins. If you trigger the bonus with more scatters, you might earn 12-15 free spins.

A global win multiplier is active in the bonus round. Each tumble win increases it by +1. The difference between this multiplier and the one in the base game is that this one doesn’t reset on losing spins. The bonus game can be retriggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols.

I had a lot of fun with the Dragon’s Dawn slot. I’m a huge fan of fantasy themes – Lord of the Rings is my favorite movie trilogy. I felt right at home with this one. The slot’s betting range perfectly suited my budget, and the features looked more than impressive for me to start playing with real money.

Even the base game proved pretty rewarding, thanks to the wizard’s staff modifiers and the multiplier. I didn’t have luck to trigger the bonus round, so I ended up paying for it. It costs 100x, 150x, and 250x for 8, 12, or 15 free spins respectively. It wasn’t cheap, so I bought the first one. I had no luck to get a good return on my investment. Personally, I think the bonus round needs more than just a global win multiplier, but it might just be my bad luck talking.

The Dragon’s Dawn slot RTP is set to 96%, which is OK for a highly volatile slot game. The maximum possible payout is a solid 7,500x the bet.

Stakelogic’s dragon-themed fantasy slot is one of the most visually impressive slots of its kind. It looks and feels great to play, with an accent on the magical features and multipliers. The wizard can help you defeat the beast, trusting his staff to shoot bolts of magic that can take your wins up high. There’s a bonus round, too, which pays more than solid cash prizes thanks to a growing multiplier.
