Things are about to get a little magical with the Elven Princesses online slot game from Evoplay. The title whisks you away to a mystical kingdom where three scantily clad elven warriors are about to work their magic across the reels. The slot game comes loaded with a selection of slot bonus features, but does it manage to conjure up enough magic to keep you entertained? In this Elven Princesses slot review, I share my experience of the game, highlighting the pros, cons, gameplay, and more. 

Evoplay has opted to go a little risque in the design of the Elven Princesses online slot game, combining the kind of sex appeal and fantasy viewers came to expect from the hit TV show Game of Thrones. The titular princesses are all presented in minimal clothing, with each of them carrying a dangerous weapon that they are not afraid to use from time to time. 

The game’s grid is positioned in the middle of some sort of battlefield, with a roaring dragon flying past in the background, setting fire to the remains of what looks to be some sort of ancient city. 

Overall, I found the design to be very striking and certainly one of the best offerings served up by Evoplay. 

From a gameplay perspective, Elven Princesses plays things a little more safe. The slot uses a standard 5x3 game grid, with 30 active paylines on every spin. Winning combinations are formed when you land matching combinations of three or more symbols across a payline. 

The control panel is under the reels, with the +/- buttons being used to adjust the stake, and the settings and autoplay buttons located on either side of the spin icon. 

There is a selection of bonus features that help to spice up the action in the Elven Princesses slot game. First, there are the Random Events modifiers. There are three of these that can trigger at random points in the game: 

• Warrior Wild Symbols: up to three Wilds appear diagonally on the reels. 
• Archer Wilds: Up to three Wilds appear anywhere on the reels. 
• Mage Wilds: All reels except for the first can are covered with Wilds.

These three bonuses are also involved in the Free Spins round. Landing three or more Scatters will trigger the bonus, with one of the following three Free Spins bonuses being activated. 

• Warrior Spins: Nine spins are rewarded, with each new Scatter giving three more spins. 
• Archer Spins: Seven spins are rewarded, with a 3x multiplier applied to every win. Each new Scatter increases the multiplier by one. 
• Mage Spins: You get five spins with three Sticky Wild symbols active. Each new Scatter becomes a Sticky Wild and stays on the grid for the round's duration. 

Unfortunately, if you want to enjoy the bonus rounds, you will need to trigger them, as the slot does not have any buy bonus options. 

I was very impressed with the game’s design, and the game’s fantasy setting and 3D elements looked great on my laptop. The more-adult elements of the theme are definitely going to divide some opinions, with Evoplay opting to go down a slightly riskier route than it traditionally would. 

I first tested the game using the Elven Princesses demo, and after an enjoyable run, I decided to take it for a spin for real money. Despite the game having a big betting range, I opted to play responsibly and opt for only $0.50 bets. 

I set the game to take 30 auto spins and found that there was a good mixture of wins throughout. The biggest single win I won from this with a $0.50 stake was $12.40. During the free bonus spins, two of the Wild features were triggered at random. 

I continued playing and eventually hit the Free Spins bonus, which offered the biggest wins. I was rewarded with Warrior Wins and ended up with eighteen spins after landing several Scatters throughout the round. 

Elven Princesses has a solid but not spectacular math model. The game has a maximum win of over $50,000 and is rated medium-high on the volatility scale. The Elven Princess's RTP is 95.41%. 

Overall, I found Elven Princesses to be one of the better Evoplay slots on the market. The game has a solid design, though its risque theme might not appeal to all; it serves up some good wins and has engaging gameplay. 

The three Wild features were a big selling point for me, as they ensure that every spin of the reels is kept exciting and that the game can turn at any moment. The three Free Spins rounds are also excellent, with the game serving up plenty of winning potential through these. 

If you enjoy slots with plenty of Wild action and spontaneous bonuses, I recommend the Moon Princess Trinity slot from Play’n GO.
