The reels are framed by familiar Greek pillars, and to the left, you’ll see a pan with a double trumpet standing on a dark pillar.

The reels are filled with many characters and creatures from Greek mythology. Their fun and cartoonish depictions perfectly show that this is a Peter & Sons slot. The Cyclops is my favorite, but Medusa looks nice as well. The epic music and sound effects in the background are right in line with the theme and visuals. Epic Hellas also has a user-friendly layout, so it’s easy to play on any device.

Before you start this epic adventure, it’s best to check the betting range. You can choose from 20c to $50 per spin, after which you must click on Spin on the right side to get started. The math model is easy to follow – you need three or more matches on one of the 50 paylines for a win. Wilds can step in and link wins and also pay the highest amounts.

The wild matches the Minotaur in payouts. A purple frame scatter is the absolute leader in terms of payouts, awarding a 1,000x return for five of a kind. It also triggers one of the two bonus features – the free spins round.

I love Greek Mythology slots, and this one was no exception. It won me over with its innovative visuals as well as the slew of straightforward but rewarding features.

My journey through Mount Olympus started with a bet of $1. I hit a few wins just under 10x during the base game, and after 20 spins without any bonus, I first activated the golden bet. It took around ten more spins to reach the Hold & Win bonus, which ended after nine respins and a total haul of 52x.

I eventually bought the free spins bonus for 55x, which proved a great investment as it returned 78x. In total, I played 11 free spins thanks to two big scatters on the giga reels.
