It’s very hard to get excited by a slot game when it looks exactly like a hundred others that have come before it. The game in question is Fruity Treats by Pragmatic Play and there is nothing about this game that looks original, and I fear my opinions won’t change even after playing it.
For this review of Fruity Treats, I play the game for real money inside my favorite online casino. I share the experience and discuss the important features of the game, from slot bonuses to software programming. You, the reader, will have access to the Fruity Treats demo format of this game, as it has been embedded within this review. Players can access this free demo game with any Android or iOS mobile device.
Fruity Treats comes with a 7-row and 7-reel layout. You only need to look at Pragmatic Play’s other slots, Fruit Party, Wild Beach Party, and Sugar Rush, to see that this is a repeated look by the developer. Fruity Treats is more toned down with its design. The background uses shafts of light that beam out from behind the game. The slot itself contains a mix of fruits and candy sweets.
The Fruity Treats slot by Pragmatic Play is not a slot I would typically play. It’s a very generic game that I have seen many times over.
Fruity Treats is not a classic slot game, as it has the now-popular Tumbling Reels feature. Rather than have symbols that spin on a reel, the symbols drop in and out of the game area. But before playing, you need to select the value you are betting per drop. The price for playing starts at $0.20 and goes up to $240, which is common with Pragmatic Play slots.
With your bet set, press the spin button to start the game. You will see that there are four pulsating markers on the reels, these are linked to the game’s multiplier feature. These move position with each spin played. When a win is made with a marker on a winning symbol, you get a multiplier. The more markers involved in the win, the more multipliers are added. They start at x5, then increase to x110, x15, and x20 with all four in a win.
To make a win, you need 5 or more of the same fruit or candy symbol to be in a horizontal or vertical connection. Symbols that form wins are removed from the slot, with the symbols above dropping into their space. Then, new symbols drop into the game to fill the vacant spaces. What you get from this Tumbler motion is a chance to trigger new wins from just one spin. This also helps prolong the game time, so it is value for money.
Now, Fruity Treats only comes with one main special feature if we look beyond what the multiplier markers do. This one feature is the free spins, and this is launched when you land 3 or more of the game’s scatter bonus symbols. What you initially get is 10 free spins to play, and during the bonus round, none of the multipliers reset. You can also win additional free spins by landing 3+ scatter symbols.
The game does come with a special Buy Free Spins option. If you would rather not play the base game but just the bonus rounds, then for a cost that is 100 times your wager value, you can buy free spins. If you want to go further, then for 200 times your wager, you can buy free spins and multipliers that start at x20! It is costly, and there are risks, but it also costs to play anyway, and gambling is all about taking risks.
It would be a lie to tell you that I was bursting with fruit flavor at the idea of playing this game. It just wasn’t made for the player within me. I loaded the game and played each spin at $2 a go and over 50 auto spins.
Nothing much was happening until my 9th spin, as I struck a Mega Win and scooped $60.30. The multipliers have very little impact, as with half my spins played. They only impacted one win. It’s also a little demoralizing when you see 10+ fruits form a win, and you get very little in return.
With my 47th spin, I hit a $22 win. This helped me to make a cash out of $19.70 at the end of my 50 spins. This is a positive, but the gameplay was a painful bore.
Fruity Treats comes with an RTP score of 96.05%. Surprisingly, the volatility that is programmed into the game comes at a high setting. My experience didn’t really reflect this, but luck must have been on my side. The maximum this game pays out is 5,000 times your wagering value. If you spin the reels at a cost of $240, there is a potential of winning $1,200,000
The Fruity Treats slot by Pragmatic Play is not a slot I would typically play. It’s a very generic game that I have seen many times over. While my experience was positive because I got to cash out $19.70, the gameplay was drab and dull overall. It’s hard to understand why such a game would be made.
While fruity Tumbler slots are not my bag, I would recommend playing alternative slots that come in this juicy genre.
Starlite Fruits Mega Moolah by Games Global.
Fruit Storm by Stakelogic.

Players can activate the game’s free spins bonus round by landing 3 or more of the scatter bonus symbols. When doing this, you will be awarded 10 free bonus spins. During this bonus round, you can win more spins. Best of all, the multiplier feature doesn’t reset, so this will help to boost wins the longer you play.
The Fruity Treats slot comes with a special feature that allows you to Buy Free Spins. At a cost that is 100 times the value of your wager, you can buy your way into the bonus round. However, for a cost that is 200 times the amount, you get free spins and multipliers that start at x20.
