I’ve played a lot of Irish slots over the years, so when taking one for a spin, I’m looking for something different. Has Oros Gaming achieved that? Oros Gaming has not strayed very far from the traditional formula for Irish-themed slots with the design of the Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree online slot. The game has a basic set of five reels positioned in the middle of the screen in front of a bright green background covered in clover leaves. 

In terms of symbols, everything you would expect from an Irish-themed slot makes an appearance, including an angry-looking leprechaun, a pot of gold, a rainbow, and some four-leaved clovers. 

I also found the game’s soundtrack to be slightly generic, with an upbeat Irish track playing when you spin the reels and some fairly dull sound effects playing when you hit the spin button. 

The Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree slot keeps the base game simple. The slot uses a five-by-three game grid, with 20 active paylines on each spin. Winning combinations are paid out when you land three or more matching symbols starting on the leftmost reel. 

The spin, autospin, and turbo options are located on the right-hand side of the game grid, with the change stake option represented by the +/- symbol. 

The titular Cash Spree bonus is where the big wins can be found in this slot. Cash Spree Symbols are effectively cash symbols that pay out if you land them on reels one and two. These can be worth up to 20x your bet. 

If you land the blue, red, or gold symbol, you will win the Major, Mega, or Grand Jackpots. These are worth 100x, 500x, and 5,000x, respectively. These can only appear on reels four and five. 

During the base game, players collect Multipliers and Spins, which can then be rewarded if you trigger the Free Spins bonus. The Multiplier Metre is displayed above the reels, and each time a Multiplier symbol lands, it increases by 0.5x up to a maximum of 10. 

The Free Spins Meter works in the same way. It counts additional Spins if you land an Extra Spins icon on the grid. 

To trigger the Multiplier Spins, you will need to land three or more Scatters. During the round, the collected Multiplier is applied. Players are given anywhere between 8 and 30 spins. It is possible to retrigger them during the round. 

Sticky Free Spins are rewarded if you land three or more Sticky Spins symbols. During the round, the number of collected spins is rewarded. This is a respin-style bonus, with only Cash Spree Symbols and blanks landing. The spin count resets whenever you land a new symbol. All winning symbols are paid at the end of the round. 

I tested the Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree slot on Google Chrome on my desktop and Safari on an iPhone. The game’s extremely basic design meant that there were no issues making the jump to a smaller screen size. 

The slot can be played for between $0.20 and $35, which is okay but may not suit players who want to place higher bets.

The Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree slot has a good RTP, clocking in with a score of 96.20%, putting it above average. The maximum win in the game is 5,000x your stake, which is not a huge amount but is strong enough. The game is considered highly volatile. However, I experienced a lot of smaller wins during my run-through. 

Unfortunately, Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree is not a slot that stands out too much from the pack. The bonuses are fine, but there are better alternatives elsewhere, and the design is very basic. It looks as though it is just a respin of the Joker Bonanza Cash Spree slot that was also released by Oros Gaming. Of course, if you are a fan of this or you enjoy respin and free spin bonuses, then you might find something to enjoy in the Lucky Bonanza Cash Spree slot.
