The design of Pirots X comes with some qualities that are similar to those of its predecessors. However, a significant alteration is the setting, which has been updated to a pirate theme. This version is set on a treasure island and boasts impeccable score and voiceover features.

Wilds: Various wild symbols have powers to boost your chances of winning.

Wild Merge: If there is more than one Wild in a cluster, they will merge to form a Multiplier Wild.

The Pirots slot series is one of the best works that ELK Studios has done. This game, I already know, can do no wrong. Pirots 3 was a top casino game, and Pirots X seemed to make no mistakes and keep the winning formula. 

But that’s me saying all this without having played it. On that note, I load the game and play with my bets at $2 per spin. I also opt to play the slot in auto-spins mode so that I can kick back and watch the magic unfold.

On the eighth spin, I land the modifier feature, with a bomb dropping into the reels. Not long after, I unlock one of the Pirots, helping me collect a $6 win. This feature strikes again two more times shortly after, leading to only a $3 win. Many features start activating as I play, including Giant Symbols and Pirots entering the game and generating huge multipliers, but the returns seem minimal. At one point, the multiplier reaches x22, but no actual win comes from it.

Few wins come from my fifty spins, though plenty of features are triggered, creating many opportunities. Despite no cashout, the entertainment factor certainly makes this a game I will return to.

So, why the low wins? Well, it may be a result of the high volatility setting. The RTP is also very low at 94.00%. So, be warned, this is a game for high rollers that can play the long game.
