The setting is inside a pub, with a glowing log fire and empty seats around various tables. It’s a bit bland, but the real focus is on the reel setup. 

The layout of the game follows a row and reel pattern that looks like this: 2-2-4-4-4. Such a setup is both rare and unusual. Because of this layout of rows and reels, there are no conventional paylines, and instead, the game plays with the Ways to Win feature. This means that as long as symbols are adjacent to each other anywhere on the reels, there are a total of 256 ways to win. 

When you load the game, whether playing in its demo mode or real money format, you first need to select the value you are betting per spin. If the default value is too much or too little, you can change and adjust it to suit your budget. The minimum cost per spin comes in at $0.25, and the max is a staggering $250 per spin. 

Once you are ready to play and you have set the price levels, press the green spin button to rotate the reels. You can opt to play with auto spins or super quick spins. When 3 or more of the low-valued symbols are adjacent, a win is recorded. Now, with the higher-valued symbols, there is a different rule. You need to match 2 symbols on reels 1 and 2, but a third or more on any reel will form a win, and it doesn’t have to be adjacent to reel 2.

There are three main special features that enhance the ways you can win and be entertained with this game.

I set up my cost of play to $2 per spin, and with this, I played 50 spins. I did land the mini-game and won 11 free spins. By the time the bonus round was over and all 50 spins used up, I had broken even.

Whilst the game doesn’t offer much, it was still a pleasantly entertaining game. I don’t think it will be a game to remember, but it was fun all the same. 

The RTP is scored at 96.07%. With the volatility set of a maximum high. In short, this is not a game suited for players with a restricted budget. 

The maximum cash that can be won from this game is 1,860 times the amount you spend on your bet per spin. This means that if you were to spin at $250, you could win $465,000!

Frankly, it looks like a lot, but when compared to other casino games, $250 is way too much when the return isn’t even half a million. It’s really bad money for value. 

Whilst Rage does have the designing qualities of NetEnt, and the play was fun, which you expect with NetEnt slots, as a real money game, I would make a pass. It’s interesting to see how very few casinos supply this game, given that the developer has the largest distribution of casinos online. 

Would I play it again? The answer is no. This game is not worth the money. To be only able to win $465,000 and have to spend $250 per spin to try and achieve that is a bit of a joke. There are so many more casino games online that give you lower rates at a spin and supply greater returns.
