Ripe Rewards from Pragmatic Play presents us all with another generic fruit-themed slot. But, with this, get the juices flowing within us. Will there be a bit of bite to the game? Or will this online slot machine game be the perfect cherry on the cake for game releases this month?
In my review, I take on the game firsthand and share my gameplaying experience with you. I will also be discussing the important elements of the game. These include the software programming, the in-play features, the bonus rounds, and the jackpot.
As with every free slot game review at Casinos.com, the free-to-play demo version of the game is made available. Enjoy and experience Ripe Rewards for free on any mobile device.
This slot is rather dynamic in its design, with Ripe Rewards coming with a 5-row and 5-reel layout. In the backdrop, there are flickering lights on a grid. The game is heavy with purple hues, and, to be honest, it’s a game that has been repeated many times over. It looks nice, but it's not exactly new in how it looks.
To the right of the reels is a feature meter/counter, and to the left of the reels, you have the game’s Buy Bonus feature and Ante Bet option.
It’s a bit tragic, really, that in 2024, slot games are so abundantly produced that no real thought or effort, it seems, goes into ideas, concepts, and gameplay. Ripe Rewards is very generic and only comes with one singular bonus feature. Frankly, Pragmatic Play, you let yourself down.
When you load Ripe Rewards, either as the free-to-play demo game or as a real money slot, the first act is to set your wagering amount. The cost of play is based on each spin. The values for each spin range between $0.20 and $240, which is the max bet for this slot ($360 if you activate the Ante Bet). You can pick your bet or coin value by selecting the plus or minus buttons next to the spin button. Once you have your bet limit set, press the spin button to turn the reels and start the game.
To produce a win, you need 3 or more of the same symbols to land on any of the 40 paylines that are embedded into the game. Select the information button to reveal the paytable, from which you will find these 40 payline patterns.
The symbols of this game feature pomegranate, peach, pear, melon, grapes, and cherries. The minor symbols that pay less are A, K, Q, J, and 10.
Buy Bonus Feature: At a cost that equates to 100 times your wagering value, you can skip the main game and immediately play inside the game’s bonus round.
Ante Bet Feature: If you boot your bet by 30%, you will double the number of scatter bonus symbols that appear in that round of play.
Bonus Free Spins: To trigger the main free spins bonus round, you need to land 3 bonus symbols. With this, you are awarded 7 free spins. This round of play includes a progressive feature called sticky wilds. Now, I love these features as the wild symbols remain in play for the duration of play and can help to significantly boost your chances of winning. Should you land more scatter bonus symbols, they will be tallied by a meter (right of the reels). When 2 have landed bonus symbols, your reward is a x2 multiplier. If you land 3, that’s an x3 multiplier. Should you collect 5 bonus symbols, all the wilds get an x5 multiplier, and you get 1 free spin.
That’s your lot!
I loaded the game from my favorite top casino site. I only played $50 in betting money over 50 spins at $1 per spin. The play comes with that K-pop sound of synths and a hit of irritation that is about as bearable as having a yeast infection. After 50 spins were played, I was down on my balance. The highest win that came in was a mere $3. This game is frankly wetter than an otter’s pocket and should not be entertained with any of your hard-earned cash.
Ripe Rewards comes with a max payout of 10,000 times your bet. Yes, a huge sum of cash can be won, but frankly, you’ll likely die of boredom before that happens. The game comes with an RTP of 96.02%, which does go up to 96.07% if you play with the Ante bet feature. The volatility of this game is naturally programmed to the high setting. This is clearly because of the massive payout that comes with the game.
Ripe Rewards is a game that you have seen many times. Yes, the design is nice, but there isn’t anything new offered to players and fans of Pragmatic Play. When slot games like this come along, I can’t help but think that these developers are having panic attacks over some anxiety-induced fear that more than 10,000 online slots aren’t enough to entertain the masses. Pragmatic Play has dropped several games this year already, and they all seem rushed and a bit dull. Less can be more because all we are getting from the likes of Pragmatic Play are games with a facelift. Nothing new and nothing inspiring. This can also be said for a few other game makers.
It’s all a bit of a letdown, really. I would strongly advise you to spend your money on more highly entertaining games. Here are my top fruity games that are better than Ripe Rewards.
Fruit Shop Megaways by NetEnt
Jammin' Jars 2 by Push Gaming
Fruit Salad by Games Global

Players are able to access the slot’s free spins bonus round. Sadly, it’s the only bonus feature of the game. You can activate the feature by landing 3 bonus symbols. This round includes sticky wilds and comes with multipliers and additional free spins.
Players can use the game’s Bonus Buy feature to play the bonus round without having to touch the base game. To do this, you will have to pay a cost which is 100 times the amount of the bet. It’s risky and costly, but it can help you to produce big wins if you are lucky.
Ripe Rewards was released by Pragmatic Play on April 1, 2024. So far, it is the laziest game that has dropped this year. Other better games newly released by them include The Alter Ego, Big Bass: Day at the Races, and Beware of the Deep Megaways. These are, however, only just better, not epically better than Ripe Rewards.
