The Squid Game slot opens with the familiar-sounding theme tune, but what is surprising is that Light & Wonder went with an overly animated approach rather than using actual footage or video stills. It loses its edge, but there is enough in the game to make up for the design.

Anyway, it’s good, but it’s not great.
