All symbols are familiar, especially if you tried slots in Las Vegas before. They include diamonds, stars, horseshoes, and other symbols of luck. They come in addition to stylized card royals, which pay less than the premiums.

All the controls for the slot are on the right. The bonus wheel occupies the bottom part of the reels. On the left side, you have the wild counter. Overall, it’s a slot that’s easy to read and understand, so you don’t have to worry about re-learning the basics.

Just as you would do in other slots online, to play Stellar Stars, you must choose a bet first. Choose between 20c and $50 per spin, then hit the Spin or Autoplay buttons to start. The reels will spin with a nice animation and reveal the outcome.

The math model is straightforward. It requires three or more matching symbols for a win. Wilds can help link wins together, substituting any symbols in winning combos other than free spins or bonus symbols.

There are two bonuses in the Stellar Stars online slot – the bonus wheel and a free spins round. Two bonus symbols on reels 1 and 5 trigger the bonus wheel. The wheel is divided into numerous segments with different cash prizes.

You win the one where the wheel stops spinning. The cash prizes range between 2x and the maximum of 5,000x the bet. You can also win seven, ten, or 15 free spins or get 25 wilds for the meter. The feature stops after a single spin.

If you don’t trigger the free spins bonus via the wheel, you can do that with three or more scatters during the base game, similar to most other online slots for real money.

You win seven free spins for three scatters, ten for four, or a maximum of 15 for five. During the bonus round, the number of stellar wilds in the counter is randomly distributed on the grid.

The rules for these wilds are the same as during respins, meaning they increase the multiplier by landing on each other while substituting for other symbols in winning combinations.

Once the free spins feature ends, the free stellar wilds feature begins. Pick one of three objects, revealing two, three, four, or five stellar wilds added to the counter.

Stellar Stars offered a truly stellar experience in my case. The slot provided more than decent returns thanks to the stellar wilds, which unleashed multipliers that paid big during my session. 

I must note that the slot’s high volatility rears its ugly teeth when it comes to the bonus. It took a good chunk of time and money to get there, although it paid off with an accumulation of six stellar wilds.

The only thing I miss in this slot is the bonus buy feature. It would have been much better for the developer to have added it.
