But as the old saying goes, judge a book by its cover, as it might be a load of rubbish. Given that this apparent slot isn’t a book, I persevered with trying to make a slot review.

The Sweet Beast Power Combo slot by Wishbone, backed by Games Global, is peculiar. The slot sits in front of a lake surrounded by trees, and it's so pitch dark that you can hardly even make out the background. To the left of the game is the Sweet Beast, who appears to be hovering on the water but is so severely animated in this game that I don’t think it’s intentional. Above the beast are the four jackpot prizes you can win: Grand, Major, Minor, and Mini. 

The slot has a classic layout of three rows, five reels, and twenty paylines. Above the slot are three jelly-looking characters that each represent a feature: Multiplier, Adder, and Rewind.

Begin playing Sweet Beast Power Combo by first selecting what cost you want your bet per spin to be. Click on the coin stack, and it will reveal a + button for you to go through the price list. But I might be wrong, and this could turn out to be the best game ever made, despite it having about as much visual appeal as a fuzzy dog turd. 

I load the game up, set my bets to $1 a spin, and play fifty auto spins. These are the results of those fifty spins.

Well, on the first spin, I land about ten wilds, but all on the wrong side of the grid for it to have any effect. It takes a further nine spins to land a win, which comes to $0.10. This happens a few more times, and after playing half my fifty spins, the largest win comes in at $1.90. 

The gameplay is a bit of a bore; not one coin has been won, and as I speak, I land a big win of $20, which helps me break even. With fifteen spins left, the game has come to life with a super win of $26.20, thanks to the Multiplier feature.

I decided to end the game with a few spins left and cash out my balance of $20.20. 

The Sweet Beast Power Combo slot by Wishbone and Games Global has a medium volatility setting. The Return to Player score is 96.25%, which is about average. The maximum payout is 5,000 times the player’s bet. If betting at the max $40 per spin, you’ll be playing for a $200,000 jackpot.
