Everyone’s favorite foul-mouthed teddy returns, and this time under a software company, Lucksome. This is Ted 2 Afterparty, which is somewhat of a sequel to the original Blueprint Gaming slot Ted, which was part of their King Jackpot series. It’s been a long time coming, given the 6-year gap. During this time, Blueprint Gaming also released Ted Megaways, Ted Pub Fruit, and Ted Cash and Lock. These games never really evolved the series. They just provided a new feature but retained the same style of play. So, the question is, is Ted 2 Afterparty the perfect sequel?
This review finds the answers while also divulging how Lucksome software performs and how the game plays out. I will give you my first-hand account of the game and discuss what the design does and what gaming features appear within the reels.
The Ted 2 Afterparty review will also contain the free official demo that can be played on any mobile device without downloads needed. If you like the slot game, Casinos.com can guide you to the best sites offering Ted 2 Afterparty as a real money slot.
The Ted 2 Afterparty design has evolved from the couch and living area in the first Ted to the shopping store where he works. The grid has expanded from a 3 x 5 layout to one that now carries 4 rows across 5 reels, presenting 50 paylines to help you win. Ted makes his usual appearance, and you can hear him singing, talking, humming, and burping. The Ted music from the first game also reappears.
You will also notice the 4 jackpots that appear to the left of the reels, but more on this later in the review.
With the first Ted slot, it was very grandiose. It came with loads of different features and bonus rounds, and this sequel has taken a step back. There’s little in anything new being offered that really expands the series.
When you find Ted 2 Afterparty in your favorite top casino, make your deposit and load the game up. Once open, set the betting value, which is something that you will be paying per spin. Prices range from $0.10 to $100. When you have selected your bet amount from the coin icon, you are ready to play. Select the spin button that has the horseshoe icon on it.
Wins are made by landing 3 or more matching symbols on any 1 of the 10 paylines. The symbols returning the big wins are the character symbols, including the duck. The least valuable symbols are the beers and A, K, Q, and J.
Your primary goal is to have fun and to win in the time you play. Slots are very simple in that you repeatedly spin the reels and stop when you either get bored, win, or run out of money. There is more to this game, as you would expect, which leads us to the bonus features.
Free Spins Bonus: The game’s scatter bonus symbols will only appear within the middle 3 reels. If you can land 3 scatters, you win 10 free bonus spins. The round plays like an acid trip, with symbols all changing and the music turning into a reggae groove. All low symbols are removed from this bonus round.
Cash Feature: With 4 or more of the main Ted symbols, you will unlock this Cash Feature. This game plays on an expandable grid that can grow to 8 rows on the 5 reels. The Ted symbols in this bonus game come with jackpot markers or cash values. The cash values go to a max amount that is 2,500 times your bet value. Each Ted symbol landing on the reels resets the spin counter back to 3. Rows are unlocked by landing the number of Teds shown on the padlock. During the bonuses, you hear quotes that feature within the Ted 2 movie.
Bonus Buy: Players can immediately play the bonus games by paying for the bonus. The cost is one of the lowest I have seen. At 50 times the betting value, you can buy your way into the Cash Feature or the 10 Free Spins game.
I loved the first Ted game by Blueprint Gaming. This seems like a smaller sequel based on the very few bonus rounds. I loaded the game up and set my wager to a value of $2 per spin. I set the autospin feature to 50 spins.
A win on the first two spins is a great sign. There is a feeling of déjà vu in this game. Sure, the symbols have had a minor change, and the slot has expanded, but where is the real change? On spin 11, I land the Cash Feature with 5 Ted symbols. The bonus game ends with me winning $105! I'm not going to complain about that, but already, at this stage, the Ted 2 Afterparty is a more inferior game than the first Ted slot. The last 25 spins of play yielded no wins. In the end, I was able to make a cash-out, which was a positive outcome.
The game comes with a medium volatility setting, which perhaps accounts for why this game produced frequent wins. The Return to Player calculation is 95.04%, and the maximum payout or base game win is 2,500 times the bet value. However, there are 4 jackpots to potentially win. Ted symbols will carry jackpot markers Mega, Major, Minor, and Mini. These can be won in the base game or the Cash Feature bonus game.
The jackpot values increase with the size of your bet. The more you pay per spin, the greater the jackpot values become. If you bet at $100 per spin, the jackpots look like this:
Mega = $250,000
Major = $25,000
Minor = $2,500
Mini = $1,000
With the first Ted slot, it was very grandiose. It came with loads of different features and bonus rounds, and this sequel has taken a step back. There’s little in anything new being offered that really expands the series. But, that said, the gameplay still yields positivity thanks to the medium volatility setting. I’d play it again, but I’d likely be playing the first game more than this new one.

Read Full BioThe Ted 2 Afterparty slot was developed by Lucksome, an iGaming company that is beginning to make a few ripples in the ocean of online gaming. Past slots that have made them known in the industry are Loki: Lord of Mischief, Voodoo Temple, and Bon Bomb Luxpots Megaways.
Yes, you can play Ted 2 Afterparty as a free slot game. The official demo of this game is embedded in this review. You can experience the free demo with any Android or iOS device. The gameplay is unlimited, and it makes for a perfect tool when deciding if you want to play the real money version or not.
There are many casinos hosting Lucksome slot games, and the game alone should attract the attention of many, given the huge success of its predecessor under Blueprint Gaming. Begin with the casino review recommended by Casinos.com and see which site best suits your needs.
The game comes with two bonus features. The Cash Feature gives you 3 spins and possible retriggers. You need 4 Ted symbols or more to unleash this. Or there is the basic Free Spins bonus round that gives you 10 free spins. You need 3 scatter symbols to activate this round.
The Bonus Buy feature is one of the cheapest I have come across. For 50 times your bet value, you can pay your way into either the 10 free spins game or the Cash Feature game. I recommend trying it because you might pay this amount in the game and never land the bonus.
Lucksome released the Ted 2 Afterparty slot on June 13, 2024. This game followed hot on the heels of their other game releases called Napoleon 2: FatStacks, FatStacks: Mini Cash, and 6 in the Chamber, which I think is their best casino game to date.
