The Ted 2 Afterparty design has evolved from the couch and living area in the first Ted to the shopping store where he works. The grid has expanded from a 3 x 5 layout to one that now carries 4 rows across 5 reels, presenting 50 paylines to help you win. Ted makes his usual appearance, and you can hear him singing, talking, humming, and burping. The Ted music from the first game also reappears.

I loved the first Ted game by Blueprint Gaming. This seems like a smaller sequel based on the very few bonus rounds. I loaded the game up and set my wager to a value of $2 per spin. I set the autospin feature to 50 spins. 

A win on the first two spins is a great sign. There is a feeling of déjà vu in this game. Sure, the symbols have had a minor change, and the slot has expanded, but where is the real change? On spin 11, I land the Cash Feature with 5 Ted symbols. The bonus game ends with me winning $105! I'm not going to complain about that, but already, at this stage, the Ted 2 Afterparty is a more inferior game than the first Ted slot. The last 25 spins of play yielded no wins. In the end, I was able to make a cash-out, which was a positive outcome. 

The game comes with a medium volatility setting, which perhaps accounts for why this game produced frequent wins. The Return to Player calculation is 95.04%, and the maximum payout or base game win is 2,500 times the bet value. However, there are 4 jackpots to potentially win. Ted symbols will carry jackpot markers Mega, Major, Minor, and Mini. These can be won in the base game or the Cash Feature bonus game.

With the first Ted slot, it was very grandiose. It came with loads of different features and bonus rounds, and this sequel has taken a step back. I’d play it again, but I’d likely be playing the first game more than this new one.
