There are all sorts of things that make a football stadium memorable. Some of them have cool extra features, like a skywalk where you can get a great view of the city, and some have a massive capacity to hold tens of thousands of people, creating an impressive atmosphere.
Of course, you might also remember certain stadiums for all the wrong reasons, like overly expensive food, a bad parking situation, or a big Norwegian fella who pushed you over (read the Tripadvisor reviews of the Etihad Stadium, and thank us later).
So, how do we determine which Premier League stadium is the most memorable?
Well, the most foolproof way would be to attend a match at every single one so that we could judge for ourselves. Maybe I’ll get the budget for that next year, but for now we had to settle for checking Tripadvisor reviews.
The team here at Casinos.com checked thousands of reviews, on the hunt for reviews mentioning certain keywords like “amazing experience” and “once in a lifetime.” Based on that, we were able to rank the stadiums on a scale, from most to least memorable.

Right at the top of the league table, you might not be surprised to hear that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium got the best rating. With 20.9% on the scale, 86 reviews called it an “amazing experience,” and 56 mentioned the word “incredible.” Having only opened in 2019, this stadium boasts a seating capacity of 62,850, and it’s the third-largest football stadium in England—plus, there’s a skywalk. Sure sounds memorable!
According to one review, “As a fan of Arsenal, I did not think there was any stadium that could beat the nostalgia and the experience of it; I was wrong! First, the outside is amazing; it looks incredible, and if you think that is the best part, you are wrong. The inside is as good or better.” Big praise from an Arsenal fan!
In second place, the Aston Villa Stadium, Villa Park, received 14.56% on our scale. The word “special” was used 100 times, and 67 reviews referred to it as an “amazing experience.”
According to one review, “Villa have wonderful owners who have retained what is special about the club and created a place that is a world-renowned, iconic stadium. A truly wonderful experience”.
There was a ton of positive feedback about the stadium tour and the guides, with many people recommending it as an absolute must for anyone visiting Birmingham.
And rounding out the top three, Goodison Park got a rating of 13.47%. The most common of our keywords was “amazing experience,” which came up 68 times in just over 1,200 reviews.
Reviewers came from far and wide, with one saying, “Travelling from Australia, it was a bucket list item to attend the home of my beloved Toffees. The tour allowed us access to the stadium and a wonderful summation of our team's history by both guides”.
If you want to visit—either for the tour or for a game—you’ll need to do it soon, as The Toffees are leaving the grounds at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Okay, that’s all well and good, but which Premier League stadiums are just not memorable at all? We wanted to find that out too.
Right at the bottom of the list, we have Vitality Stadium, which got an absolutely abysmal rating of… 0% on our scale. That’s right, a big, fat, zero. Absolutely no one mentioned any of our keywords, but to be totally fair, there were only 75 reviews. So, what do people have to say about the home of Bournemouth?
One review said, “I love going to see my team play in Bournemouth, but the stadium really does belong in the lower divisions, tiny and with no atmosphere whatsoever.” That doesn’t sound at all memorable to me.
Second from the bottom, Portman Road Stadium didn’t do too well either, with a rating of 1.49% and only two keyword mentions. We were hopeful when we saw that the word “special” came up, but it turns out the person was talking about the food special—a Portman Pie.
In fact, the same reviewer commented, “The atmosphere is dead quiet; it still amazes me how quiet the home fans are when I go.”
The final “least memorable” stadium on the list was Gtech Community Stadium. The 17,000+ seater only opened in 2020, so we would have thought it might have ranked a little higher, but alas that wasn’t the case.
There were four mentions of our keywords across 124 reviews, leading to a rating of 3.23%. “The seats are too small, with no room for your knees. There are pillars obscuring views, and all the seats face forward rather than to the center spot”, said one reviewer. Sounds like it might actually be memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.
Casinos.com utilized Tripadvisor reviews to do an in-depth analysis of phrases associated with being memorable to determine the Premier League stadium that is the most memorable. We calculated the percentage of view-related mentions in the total Tripadvisor reviews.
