Alabama, or the Yellowhammer State as it is sometimes known, is located in the South Eastern region of the US, and it's fair to say that it's not known for its casinos.
Bordered by Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east, Florida to the south, and Mississippi to the west, Alabama is considered part of the Deep South or ‘Bible Belt’ region with a largely conservative political standpoint.

The top three casino resorts in Alabama are owned by Wind Creek Hospitality which is owned by Poarch Band of Creek Indians. Let’s take a quick look at those in more detail.
Alabama has a lot more to it than just gambling, so let’s take a look at what else you might want to experience while you’re in state.
Players must be 21 years or over to gamble in Alabama casinos so always remember to bring along photographic ID to gain entry.
