To rank them, Casinos.com created an index score based on the following factors – how many betting machines and tables each casino had, as well as the number of hotel rooms and dining experiences available. We also included Trip Advisor ratings, positive sentiment on social media and the average cost of a beer in each. So let’s jump in and see which is providing the best service for their customers.
It’s no surprise that our top-ranking casino in the US is based in the dazzling lights of Las Vegas. The Venetian Las Vegas got a score of 66.8/100 for its incredible set-up, which includes over 3000 machines and 300 betting tables, as well as over 4000 hotel rooms and nearly 20 restaurants. The average cost of a beer is typical for most of the casinos in our top 10, at around $7.25. The Venetian is also conveniently close to the airport with a ten-minute taxi ride, so you can get right onto having the time of your life as soon as you land!
One of the most renowned hotels on the Las Vegas strip, the Bellagio is also located conveniently close to the airport (only 9 minutes in a taxi) and is packed full of fun. They scored 60.3/100 in our index, with nearly 2500 betting machines and over 200 tables to try your hand at different games. They also have 20 different restaurants to cater to their visitors, as well as nearly 4000 hotel rooms.
This casino in Connecticut is one of the largest in the Northeast of the US, and comes in with a score of 47.6/100 for its indulgent amenities, like nearly 30 restaurants and an average cost of a beer coming below average at $6.98. It features over 7000 betting machines, one of the highest on our list, as well as 400 table games.
Another Las Vegas casino that makes it into our top five is the Wynn Las Vegas casino with its luxury hotel and casino experience – with 2716 hotel rooms, 22 restaurants and dining facilities, as well as an exclusive casino floor with 167 tables and 1900 gaming machines, there is little surprise why this modern resort is so popular and ranks so highly.
Set in a stunning mountain landscape, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina is a haven of gambling fun and luxurious hotel amenities you can indulge in. They’ve got a strong TripAdvisor rating of 4.3 and their overall score came to 41.6 in our index.
The score for the MGM Grand in Las Vegas came to 39.1 and for many reasons – there are 2300 gaming machines, over 175 betting tables, and the largest number of hotel rooms of any of our top resorts, with over 5000 rooms. As with all other Vegas casinos, the MGM Grand charges $7.25 on average for a pint of beer.
The Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, comes into our top ten index list with a score of 40.4 out of 100. We were able to calculate this score from their 4100 gaming machines, nearly 300 betting tables, and over 2000 hotel rooms. Alongside this, they have 17 restaurants and in these restaurants, you can expect to pay an average of $7.25 for a beer.
The WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma owns the largest amount of gaming machines in our top 10 index, with over 7400 machines in play for their guests, as well as 100 betting tables. It also has the largest amount of restaurants to cater to 1500 hotel rooms, where you can pay $7.25 on average for a beer – and this all totals together for an index score of 38.6 out of 100.
Caesars casino in Atlantic City has over 3000 gaming machines and 163 betting machines for you to play multiple different games and 11 restaurants for you to dine to your heart's content. You can also enjoy our index’s cheapest beer here, at $6.25 on average! Caesars boasts a year-on-year growth of online searches of 124%, so this casino and hotel resort is a real up-and-comer.
Another up-and-comer to make it onto our list is the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino based in Las Vegas, with a score of 29.7 out of 100 and year-on-year growth of online searches of 174%. There are over 1200 gaming machines and 100 tables to play on to win your fortune, and 18 restaurants to enjoy your winnings in!
