The 3 Blazing Volcanoes Power Combo has a surprisingly calm base game. The slot is made up of five reels and three rows, with 40 fixed paylines active on every spin. Wins are formed from left to right with three or more matching symbols, and the control panel is located under the game grid.

The main attraction in 3 Blazing Volcanoes Power Combo is the titular Power Combo features. Anyone who has played any of these slots before will know the drill: there are three different Scatter symbols, each of which can trigger the Link&Wins bonus round with a different bonus mechanic active. 

Any time a Scatter symbol lands, it is collected by its corresponding volcano. Any of these collections can randomly trigger the Link&Wins bonus. This is a respin round where all standard symbols are removed from the grid. Only Coins and blanks can land. Players get three respins, and whenever a Coin lands, it resets the count. 

Triggering this with the Red Scatter will launch it with the Instant Collect feature. A special Mask Collector symbol is then active and can land on any respin. It will reset your count, collect all cash symbols, and pay them out. 

The Blue Scatter triggers the Expand Power. This extends the grid into a 5x5 grid, providing the chance to land more coins and hit big wins. 

The Purple Scatter launches it with a Multiplier of either 2x, 3x, or 5x. This will be applied to all Coins that land. It is also possible to trigger the round with an active combination of the bonuses. 

During the round, you can also win Jackpots by landing their respective symbols. The Mini and Minor Jackpots are worth 50x and 250x your stake, respectively. If you fill the grid, you will win the Grand Jackpot, which is worth 2,500x your stake. 

The game also has a Free Spins bonus. Whenever players land the Red Gem Scatter, it is collected by the Treasure Box to the right of the grid. It can then randomly trigger the Free Spins round when it lands. Five spins are rewarded, with an additional three spins for every Scatter that has been collected. During the round, there is an increased chance of triggering the Link&Win bonus. Regrettably, you won't find a slots bonus buy feature here.

I have played several of the Power Combo slots in the past and have always found them to be engaging games. I took the slot for a spin for free using the 3 Blazing Volcanoes demo first. I did this to check out the features and get a feel for the general design and gameplay of the slot. 

Once I had done this, I switched to playing for real money. I set my spin at $1 and took the game for around 50 spins. The fact that the bonuses can randomly trigger any time a Scatter lands certainly kept the game interesting, and I managed to trigger the Expanding Feature when playing. 

During this bonus, I landed some big wins, with the expanding grid allowing more Coins to hit. I landed a 42x my stake win during this round, and, when combined with my other small wins throughout the game, walked around with around $75 off my initial $50.

The RTP is an impressive 96.49%, which is certainly going to attract some players. The maximum win is 10,525x your stake, which I assume is won through a combination of the Grand Jackpot and the Multipliers.
