In 2021, Blueprint Gaming released Bankin’ Bacon, and the success of this game shows with the new release of the sequel. Bankin’ More Bacon is the second game in this series, but is it any good or just a bit too hammy?
In my review of Bankin’ More Bacon, I will be playing the game firsthand and sharing my experience at one of our recommended slot casinos. I will be discussing the software and how it performs. I also highlight the in-game features and how you can benefit from and enjoy this game.
The free-to-play demo is also embedded into this review for you to enjoy. You can play via any Android smartphone and Apple device, all without downloads, registration, and cost risks. So, does this game bring home the bacon, or is it boar-ing?
First things first. When Blueprint Gaming releases a slot, I get the tingles. Admittedly, the original Bankin’ Bacon slot was a bit flat, but this new game seems to have learned from past mistakes.
Bankin’ More Bacon goes from Mansion Front, which was the first game design, to Manor Garden with this new release. It’s a bit simple, but the important detail is inside the slot and not what surrounds it.
The theme is naturally going to place this game in the casino categories under Animals. The slot remains a 4x6 layout and also retains the 4,096 ways to win. You will see that to the left side of the slot, and there are four in-play features to unlock and also 3 jackpots to win. These are classed as Mega, Major, and Mini.
When I first saw the game, I was a little apprehensive because of the first game, it was okay, but it didn’t blow my socks off. However, Blueprint Gaming is in the top 5 best software list as far as I am concerned, so I am up for giving this game a good go.
Whilst the presentation of the game makes it look like a lot is going on, playing it couldn’t be simpler. If you have not played slots before, then 99% of them are automated to the point that you only need to press the spin button to play.
Before doing so, you need to set the price that you are going to wager your bet for every spin. The slot allows players to select a low price of $0.10 per spin and a maximum bet cost of $10 per spin. Once the amount is selected, you will begin play by selecting the spin button that is to the right of the reels.
As there are no traditional paylines, wins are formed by having any matching symbol go across adjacent reels 3 or more times. Because of the number of rows and reels, this allows for a maximum of 4,096 different ways to win.
This is the gameplay in its most basic form. You spin the reels, and the game does everything else based on the randomized programming within it. Now, with that said, there are further features that are part of this game that are designed to increase potential and opportunity. You could say that when these features are activated, the gaming ‘pigs’ up.
The bonus and in-play features of this game really should have you squealing with excitement. There is plenty going on, which is what I like to see in a slot game. Let’s look at them in closer detail:
Golden Safe: Land a Cash Boost symbol, and all on-screen cash is collected.
Cash Boost: When the Lock & Spin and any cash symbols are simultaneously on the reels, it unlocks this feature, which adds an x5 multiplier to the amount of cash that is collected from the spin.
Dual Collect: Land a Piggy Collect symbol on reel 1 and reel 6.
Lock & Spin: This feature becomes unlocked with a Piggy Collect and cash symbols. On reels 1 and 6, any cash symbols are locked in place to help accumulate more moolah. This round stops when no new cash symbols land.
Piggy Collect: This symbol is essential when it comes to activating all features and must land with any of the special features listed above.
The game also boasts a free spin bonus game that is triggered by landing 3 or more scatter symbols. In doing this, you will receive 10 bonus free spins. The scatters also have monetary value, with up to 500x the value of your wager being able to be paid out if you were to land all 6 scatters.
Within the bonus round, the Piggy Collect feature can be active, and when you collect/land 2, you will be rewarded with 5 more free spins and an x2 multiplier. You will see the bonus collection bar across the tops of the reels. After your first two Piggy Collect land, the second time round rewards 5 more spins and then an x3 multiplier, then x5, and then x10, each with 5 more new spins included. You get the idea of how this goes, and you’ll see it yourself once you’ve landed the bonus play.
When I first saw the game, I was a little apprehensive because of the first game, it was okay, but it didn’t blow my socks off. However, Blueprint Gaming is in the top 5 best software list as far as I am concerned, so I am up for giving this game a good go.
As always, I set my auto spins to 50, and I played with my bet per spin at $2. As the autoplay did its thing, the randomized programming went through the motions. I found myself getting a little bored that nothing was landing. Crappy luck or just bad programming? Either way, I couldn’t do anything and accepted the fact that I didn’t gain anything as an end result.
My poor experience may have something to do with the volatility being programmed to the highest level. This makes it harder to win and costlier to play. The RTP (Return to Player) is scored at 96%, but I’m not too fussed about this because it’s a theoretical calculation and nothing more.
The maximum that could be won from this game is 10,000 times the bet amount. So, if you are playing the max bet at $10 per spin, you might just win $100,000. Now, this is greater than any of the three jackpot prizes the game hosts.
The Mini Jackpot is worth 20x your bet. The Major Jackpot is 200x your bet, and the Mega Jackpot comes in at 2,500x the bet amount.
Bankin’ More Bacon is a game that comes with great features and certainly offers a lot more meat than its predecessor. However, the game itself is not a unique slot, as it copies many other games made by Blueprint Gaming. If you have played King Kong Cash: Even Bigger Bananas, you will see that this is the same game with just a different design.
There will be players out there who love this game, but when looking at the bigger picture, there are better Blueprint Gaming slots that offer great features, bigger payouts, and provide you with a more unique gaming experience. Try the following:
The official slot for The Goonies Return
The official slot for Deal or No Deal: Megaways

The Return to Player rating of Bankin’ More Bacon comes in at an average score of 96 percent. This does not mean that you will win the game 96 percent of the time you play. It’s a theoretical payback score based on what you pay into the game and how many times you play it.
