Big Bam-book is a Push Gaming online slot. If you have read my previous reviews, you know that I love Push Gaming’s creations, as most of the stuff this London-based provider puts out is high-class. I’m sure many have similar expectations for Big Bam-book, a Kung Fu Panda-style spinner.

The reel-spinning fun here takes place on a usual five-reel, three-row grid, which is accompanied by a left-side meter. The volatility here is high. The default RTP stands at 96.31%, and the top win you can hope to someday land on this slot’s ten paylines is 10,000x.

While some consider Big Bam-book a sequel to Push Gaming’s Big Bamboo from 2022, we see no connection between the two, aside from the Asian animals they feature. The ones here are warrior-centric, and they inhabit a colorful mountain village.

As noted above, in Big Bam-book, the base game set is a nice-looking peaceful village at sunset, where the reels spin inside a wooden frame in front of idyllic little houses. In the free spins, the nightfall starts coming, and the backdrop changes as things get a bit more dynamic.

The theme is ninja-type combat, with various anthropomorphized Asian animals acting as warriors. Naturally, the panda takes center stage here, as it is Big Bam-book’s highest-paying symbol.

The lack of music in the base spins and much of the bonus mode entertainment here is disappointing, as you primarily only hear bamboo sound effects. The few animations you see here are decent, and the music that plays during big win tallies is nice enough.

The spin button and the other main controls in this online slot are stacked vertically off the 5x3 grid.

Testing my luck on the Big Bam-book slot was something I would rate as a decent experience. I used my standard budget of $100, spinning at $1 per spin. I did not do well at first, as I quickly wound up $64 in the whole, and feared I would lose all my funds in my session rather quickly.

Thankfully, things started to improve, and following two above $100 wins, I was in good shape for the rest of my planned four-hundred-spin session, which ended with a profit of $23.

I must say that the free spin round paved my way into profitability, as if I had not entered it when I did, I would have probably lost my entire bankroll in under ten minutes. But Lady Luck smiled at me this time. Yay for her and me!

I found it enjoyable, but I understand it will struggle to wow most online slot veterans. Casuals who prefer fun themes and not overly complicated gameplay are bound to love it. Thus, if you classify yourself as this, give it a whirl.
