I’m not going to lie. Once I loaded this game, I immediately got the vibe thanks to the cool and groovy jazz music. Gangster-themed slots are not as common as you might think. Those set in the 1920s are even fewer. 

I dig the style of this slot, but I will say that it is very basic when it comes to the gameplay. This slot could have been much more, like adding a crime scene bonus round or adding a much-needed layer to this game. Alas, it’s just your same old slot with a different facelift. 

I played this game with $2 bets per spin. I played 50 spins, spending a total of $100. In return, I got very little. One big win of $43 stopped me from failing miserably, but I made a $47 loss.  But I must say, the number of times the free spins bonus symbols landed was insane. Alas, I never managed to hit the bonus round within my 50 spins.

Now, I like the gaming design and style of what it is, but the gameplay is offering players nothing new. The fact that this is a high-volatility game and only pays out $217,500 is pretty sloppy. There are scores of progressive jackpots out there that come with higher returns and the same cost settings and volatility. This is unfortunate because the developer, Rabcat, usually gets it right.
