Hi folks, I’m currently reporting live from the River of Styx in Hell as I celebrate the release of the ungodly game Blood & Shadow 2 by Nolimit City. 

Well, I must say it has been an interesting visit so far. Earlier today I took to the Lake of Fire to carry out some interviews. There, I met many demon-possessed characters from the game, some of whom gave me their opinions on this slot. 

Here is a transcript of one of those interviews:

Me: “Excuse me, Sir, might I ask you a few questions about this game?”

Demon: “Sure.”

Me: “Do you mind if I ask your name and what your sin is?”

Demon: “My name is Tom, and my sin is soul harvesting .”

Me: “Wonderful stuff. Well, it’s nice to meet you, Tom. Now, Nolimit City has released the follow-up to their slot game Blood & Shadows, and I have the free demo right here for you to play. I would like to get your opinion on the game and how it performs. Would that be something you could do for me, Tom?”

Tom: “Sure.”

The Blood & Shadow 2 slot features design elements that closely resemble those of the original Blood & Shadow slot. The slot is now located within a satanical church. The color pallet remains two-tone, and the layout of the game comes with an expansion, now offering five rows (one of which is locked) and five reels. The number of Ways to Win has also expanded and now ranges from 1,204 ways to win to 3,125 ways to win. The game also comes with a Tumbler mechanism, which activates when you make a win.

When you load Blood & Shadow 2 from your favorite casino, the first step is to decide how much you want to pay per spin. To set your bet limit, select the coin icon, which will reveal the price list. Play starts with pressing the Spin button. After the spin of the reels, wins can be formed by aligning matching symbols along adjacent reels, going from left to right. Three or more are needed to produce a winning return. Once you activate a win, you also trigger the Tumbler feature. This replaces winning symbols with new ones. When they enter into the game, it is then possible for new winning formations to develop. This can then lead to multiple wins forming from just playing one spin.

This is the gaming basics. You spin and win. If you fail a win, you spin again, and so on. Now, other features of the slot help expand the entertainment and the chance to win real money payouts. 

Reel and Ritual: The game comes with a fifth locked reel that is linked to the Ritual power bar below it. The reel is full of Wild symbols and can only be unlocked one at a time when you pass each of the five levels of the Ritual Bar. To advance on the bar and unlock levels comes by landing winning combinations and scatter bonus symbols. Level advancements remove the lower-valued symbols and transform medium-value symbols into the higher-valued ones.

Candle Spins: For each level you pass on the Ritual Bar, you will earn two Candle Spins up until Level 4. After which, you will earn six free spins when you reach the Reign of Terror Spins round.

Sticky Wilds: These symbols, when landing on the reels, will lock in place. They will remain until they help to form a winning outcome.

xSplit: There are two types of this feature symbol. Dagger xSplits will split the full row of symbols. The Guillotine xSplit will split all symbols beneath it. All split symbols will turn into wilds and will come with an x2 multiplier. 

Halifax Gibbet Spins: This feature starts you off on level 3 of the Ritual Bar and gives you six Candle Spins. Three low and medium-valued symbols are swapped with three higher-valued ones.

Reign of Terror Spins: This round of gaming comes with six free spins. This bonus plays on a full 5x5 gaming layout and with no Ritual Bar. Landing a scatter symbol wins you an extra free spin. 

Nolimit Booster: Buy the Halifax Gibbet Spins bonus for 100 times your bet. The Reign of Terror Spins bonus costs 500 times your bet. If you choose to buy Reign of Terror, you get ten spins, not six.

Earlier in the review, I spoke to Tom, who was by the Lake of Fire, and asked him for his opinion on this game. Here’s the rest of that interview.

Me: “So, Tom, what did you think of the Blood & Shadow 2 slot by Nolimit City?”

Tom: “Well, I found the game to be fun, very fun indeed. I selected my bet to be $2 per spin and played a total of 50 spins. The game started very well, with four consecutive wins landing. I like the feature of the eyeballs being squished under the symbol blocks. I made a big $10 win on my twentieth spin and managed to unlock the first reel Wild. This also came with a Guillotine xSplit, which won me $20. By my twenty-fifth spin, I had broken even. The game then produced fewer wins, and it felt that the opportunity to call it even had passed me by. Sadly, I ended my fifty spins with nothing to cash out. Despite this, I still thoroughly enjoyed the game.”

Me: “Well, that’s just splendid, Tom. Thank you.”
