Now, I’ll be honest — it’s not often a game that stops me in my tracks. Now, either I’ve slipped into some twisted alternative dimension, or finally, a new game has been released that has oddly put a smile on my face. It hurts, and I’m grinning like an idiot, but let’s hope the pain is worth it.
So, the new slot game is Brawlers Bar Cash Collect and is made by Quickspin. In this review, I play the game and share my experience. I discuss the slot features, payouts, and bonuses. Also, the software programming and I present you with the free-to-play demo that allows you to enjoy the game as well before heading to the top slot sites.
Let the chaos reign!
Brawlers Bar Cash Collect is set in some Irish back alley, with Irish pub music playing in the background. The image presented in the game is mouth-watering because you get loads of visually compelling features and things, glorious things!
First, the slot. This comes with a classic 3x5 layout. You have Cash Collect features above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. There are two heavily built bouncers in white vests at the bottom of the game and to the left and right of the reels. To the left of the game, you have an Ante Bet feature and a Bonus Brawl feature.
You have your bet and Cash Collect feature to the right of the game. The greater the bet, the bigger the Cash Collect multiplier becomes. Frankly, we’re all adults here, so I can say that this game kicks ass, and that’s just the look of it.
The slot comes with 25 paylines, but does that even matter when the game also comes with the now-popular Tumbler feature? Let’s now look at how the game plays.
Well, I was excited by the game's look, and now that I have played it, my judgment wasn’t wrong.
When you load the game, it slams onto the screen of your device, and I love that as an introduction.
The price of play ranges from $0.20 to $100 per spin. The game defaults at $1, so adjust to suit by pressing on the stacked coins icon. When you have set the payment limit per spin, press the giant spin button to start playing.
To win, you must land three or more of the same symbol across any of the 25 paylines. The higher earning symbols include gold knuckle dusters, barbed wire boxing gloves, a pint of Guinness, and a nailed plank of wood. The lower earning symbols are made up of A, K, Q, and J.
Earlier, I mentioned the Tumbler feature. This feature creates a chain reaction mode of play, whereby winning symbols are removed from the game, causing their space to be filled by the symbols above them. Following this, new symbols drop into the game. This tumbling effect allows new winning patterns to form, all without the player needing to pay for the action. One spin can trigger multiple wins.
Let us now look at the game's special features that enhance the play experience and add to the potential ways of increasing your game balance.
Brawlers Bar comes with a Cash Collect feature, though spelled as Ca$h Collect, which is oddly trademarked. Anyway, this feature is a simple multiplier that is added to cash prizes, which are represented by gold coins. The values of the coins are different and reflective of what you pay as your spinning wager. The more you bet, the higher the values will be on your cash prizes.
To the right of the game, you will see three stacked coins and their values next to them. This is the paytable for this feature. Increase your stake, and these values will increase. However, these will naturally increase because of the multiplier factor which activates with each collection. Now, the cash can only be collected when the symbol of the feature lands along with a Ca$h Collect symbol.
Now, the Ca$h Collect symbol also helps to trigger the Bonus Brawl feature, which is essentially the game’s Free Spins bonus. You need at least one Bonus Brawl symbol and the Ca$h Collect symbol to open up the free spins round.
Above three reels, you can see Ca$h Collect highlighted with one ‘turned off.’ The one above reel 2 is linked to the game’s Ante Bet. This feature increases the chances of landing the Ca$h Collect symbol by turning on the Ante Bet, which increases your bet.
Lastly, Brawlers Bar Cash Collect comes with a Bonus Buy slots feature. This special option allows players to pay their way into bonus rounds and skip past the base game. Select the Bonus Brawl icon, and you can load three bonus options to choose from:
Get ready to enjoy some mayhem, as you can also win more free spins during the bonus round. And the Ca$h Collect feature is active in this round of play.
Well, I was excited by the game's look, and now that I have played it, my judgment wasn’t wrong. This is a fun game that definitely will have a huge appeal factor to many players out there, simply because it’s a game with balls are ass. Ass? Sure ass, because when you land a big win, you’re greeted by a brawler flashing his rear and defecating coins from his backside, which is made lovelier by the fact they also add a rainbow as well.
I loaded the game from my casino and played it with real money. My bet was $2 per spin, and I played 100 spins in auto-play mode this time. Because of the Tumbler feature, there is always enough to keep your attention. When landing the Brawler Bonus symbols, the game goes into anticipation mode as the main gaming light dims, and the remaining reels light up, waiting for the Ca$h Collect symbol to drop.
Throughout the 100 spins, I hit several wins, and I came close to striking the bonus round several times, but ultimately, the special features never landed. I ended up down on my balance, with my biggest single win being about $8.
The game comes with a 96.02% RTP that increases to 95.98% when you activate the Ante Bet feature. The volatility is set to high, which makes the gameplay costly, but it makes sense when the game comes with a max payout pot of $692,500. However, to win this amount, you will have to spin the reels at $100 a play.
I enjoyed this game, and I like the attitude behind it. There are far too few of these games in this watered-down industry, and to see and play them brings such a refreshing change. I cannot fault it, and well done, Quickspin, for getting this one right on the money.
