Given the history of this game, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this slot will be no different from the Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz slot previously released, except for one feature that accounts for the ‘EXTREME’ addition to the title.

Well, unsurprisingly, Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz EXTREME by Games Global is really no different in design from Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz, which proceeded it. In fact, it is identical except for… yes, that one feature that accounts for the EXTREME part of the title. 

As for the rest of the game, you have the same four jackpots: Mega, Major, Minor, and Mini. The slot retains its 4 rows and 6 reels, which carry the 4096 ways to win mechanism.

You don’t need to have played any of the previous games in this series to understand how Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz EXTREME functions. First, load the game from within a trusted online casino. Set your bet value between $0.20 and $50, which is paid per spin. With the bet value in place, you can begin to play.

Select the spin button, and the reels will start spinning. To form wins, you must land 3 to 6 matching symbols. These must land left to right from reel 1. They must also be across adjacent reels. The top symbols are the rainbow fish, fishing kit, boots, lure, and butterfly. The low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A.

The rules are simple. Keep spinning the reels to hopefully land the right symbols in the right place, and that’s all there is to the base game. However, this game has many features and bonuses that expand the potential to win.

Cash Symbols: Collect the cash symbols that carry varying amounts to boost your winnings.

Collect Feature: You must land the Collect symbol on reels 1 and 6 to collect the Cash symbols.

Bonus Game: To unlock this bonus game, you must land the clover bonus symbol three or more times. Three symbols return eight free spins or two Gold Blitz spins. Four symbols return twelve free spins or three Gold Blitz spins. Five symbols return twenty free spins or five Gold Blitz spins. Six symbols return thirty free spins or seven Gold Blitz spins. The free spins bonus game also features multiplier values of x5, x3, and x2.

Respin Feature: Unlock the Respin feature with two Collect symbols without any Cash symbols on the reels. The Collect symbols will lock while reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 spin. This feature guarantees you to land one or more Cash symbols.

Jackpot Feature: Accumulate Gold Tokens by landing Cash Symbols without any Collect symbols and increase your chances of triggering the Jackpot feature. There are four jackpots to win. The Mega has a value that starts at $2,000. Major starts at $200. Minor begins at $20, and Mini at $10. The value you bet will affect how much the jackpots are worth.

Bonus Multiplier: The Gold Blitz game is part of this feature. Each win made on Gold Blitz increases the Bonus Multiplier. This happens when Bonus scatter symbols land during the feature round. The multiplier will accumulate up to a max of x5.

Gold Blitz: The Collect Retrigger Symbol and the Retrigger Symbol will add a spin when landing on reel 6. The Collect will always land on reel 1. The round includes x100 Extreme Cash symbols.

Bonus Buy: Head straight for the bonus rounds by paying for the privilege. Three scatters cost 30x your bet. Four scatters cost 50x your bet. Five scatters cost 80x your bet. Six scatters cost 120x your bet.

I’m not overly fussed about this game or the games within this overly-milked series. Because I prefer innovative slots and new ideas, I only approached this game with my bets set to $1 per spin. I also played the game in its auto mode over 50 spins.

The first win dropped on spin five but only yielded a $2 win. It then took ten more spins to land $0.20. While I’m finding many Tokens, the wins of real cash are few and far between. With twenty-five spins, I have amassed $2.20. 

I then land four bonus symbols on spin twenty-eight. I have the option of 3 Gold Blitz spins or 12 free spins. I selected the Gold Blitz spins. The result returned a win of $32.40. With this, I could end the game early and cash out $15.

The RTP is 96.00%, with the volatility at the high setting. The maximum win is 5,000x the player’s bet. If you spin at $50, the jackpot would be $250,000!

This series has many fans, but I am not one of them. This game has some additions compared to the previously released Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz. I get the updates, but where do you draw the line? Can we expect a Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz Double Extreme slot next?
