Napoleon Deluxe is a Blueprint Gaming slot based on the revolutionary French leader. The slot has a highly volatile math model and 20 paylines to win. Its adventure theme will see you in the middle of a battlefield and an ongoing battle. While the math model is straightforward, the slot sees great action in wild multipliers and the free spins round.
With its great graphics and wartime setting, this is a slot that players of such adventures will love. The symbols are depicted in great detail and look sharp, with the paytable naturally led by the great Bonaparte. He’s the wild symbol that not only substitutes for other symbols in winning combinations but also multiplies your wins depending on how many wilds you’ve landed.
The slot combines vintage and modern features to create a total wartime adventure. Read my detailed Napoleon Deluxe review below to learn more.
The action in Napoleon Deluxe takes place on a 5x3 grid with 20 paylines. The French Revolution inspires the symbols, so you’ll see Napoleon himself, his soldiers and warships, his trusty horse, and a cannon. Low-paying card royals also grace the reels. The graphics are sharp, as expected out of a Blueprint Gaming slot, and so are the animations.
An epic soundtrack in the background keeps the pace going. It’s accompanied by excellent sound effects when you score wins or unlock the slot’s features. As for the layout, it’s pretty standard. The spin button is on the right side, with the other controls in the corners beneath the reels.
Napoleon Deluxe wasn’t as deluxe of a slot game as I was hoping for, but it still offered decent wins.
To start playing Napoleon Deluxe, you’ll need to place a bet. Choose as low as 20c per spin or as high as $40. When you decide on your bet, a click on the spin button will start the action.
You need three or more symbols for a winning combination or two for the pair of top premiums and the wild. The soldier pays 200x for five on a line, with only the Napoleon Wild paying more – 5,000x for the same combination. The wild also substitutes for missing symbols in winning combinations. It’s combined with a multiplier that boosts your wins depending on how many wilds substitute for symbols.
This particular feature can be lucrative if you’re lucky enough to land a lot of wilds on the reels. There are no other features in the base game, but there is a free spin round to look forward to.
Three or more royal crown scatters will trigger the bonus round. Regardless of the number of triggering scatters, you receive ten free spins. During the bonus round, any win triggers the so-called Napoleon streak.
When that happens, winning symbols will lock into place while the reels go for a respin. They will continue until a loss occurs and there are no winning symbols on the screen. The bonus round can’t be retriggered. There’s a bonus buy option, which costs 65x with x2 and x3 wilds active for the duration of the bonus.
Napoleon Deluxe wasn’t as deluxe of a slot game as I was hoping for, but it still offered decent wins. That’s mostly thanks to the wilds. I managed to hit a couple of wins at one of the top casinos that involved two wilds, which delivered decent returns even with lower-paying symbols.
It took me over 30-40 spins to get to the bonus round. The Napoleon streak relies on winning streaks, so it’s not triggered right away. But, thanks to the endless possible respins, this is where I hit the largest wins, justifying the money I invested before. I also tried the bonus buy option as I couldn’t retrigger the bonus naturally. I got my money back but didn’t make an extra profit.
Napoleon Deluxe is a medium volatile slot with an RTP of 96.04%. The maximum win is 20,000x the bet or $250,000, whichever you reach first.
Napoleon Deluxe is a solid slot, even if it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. The top feature involves the wilds, which boost your wins with multipliers. In the bonus round, you get endless responses thanks to the Napoleon streak, which can be quite lucrative if you’re lucky. You can even buy your way into the bonus with x2 and x3 wilds that take the slot’s winning potential further.
This isn’t the first Napoleon slot I’ve played in top casinos. In fact, the revolutionary leader has been the subject of many other slots, including the likes of Napoleon 1 and 2 by Lucksome Gaming. The sequel, Napoleon 2 FatStacks, comes with the FatStacks mechanic, making it a great alternative to Napoleon Deluxe.

Yes. You trigger it when three or more scatters land. This combination offers ten free spins. During the bonus round, each win triggers a feature named Napoleon Streaks. All winning symbols are locked in place while the other reels go for a respin, with the process stopping only when there are no winning symbols on the grid.
Yes, you can buy the bonus round, but it comes at a price. The cost is 65x the bet, but you get x2 and x3 wilds active for the bonus duration. This, along with the Napoleon streaks on every win, can make the bonus round far more lucrative than the base game.
