Ladies and gentlemen, I immediately have to address and warn about the fact that because this is a review about a Playboy-titled game, there will be and must be a high degree of sex-related puns woven into the text. This is your spoiler alert, and henceforth, I present to you my review of Playboy Fortunes King Millions by GameBurger.

Welcome, dear readers, and yes, if you were not aware of it before, you certainly are now. Indeed, Playboy does come to you in a slot form. How, there is an obvious joke there, given how the words in that sentence can be misconstrued, but that was not an ironic or intended pun. 

Now, over the course of several years, a few Playboy games have been released by a software company called Microgaming. They had the honor of possessing the rights to the brand, which was subsequently passed down to Games Global. This was after a buyout of their back catalog of work, leading them (Games Global) to work with smaller studios (GameBurger) to continue making sequels to previously successful games.

I have to apologize for the lack of sexually explicit puns in that last paragraph, but it’s hard to convey facts about the inner workings of casino software dealerships and legal marketing rights while trying to think of a way to slip in pornographic connotations.

Anyway, we have the rest of the review for that, in which I discuss how to play Playboy Fortunes King Millions, what bonus features the game possesses, and what you can potentially win. Plus, you also have access to the free demo. No doubt, this will be something to keep you up all night. 

Playboy Fortunes King Millions is a follow-up game and makes the series, so far, a trilogy. The game originally started as just Playboy Fortunes; then it became Playboy Fortunes Hyper Spins. Now, players will come to Playboy Fortunes King Millions and see the same layout and design, with a new feature, solely the King Millions feature. 

With the design, there is nothing X-rated, unfortunately. You have a slot with three rows and five reels. To the left of the reels, there is a paytable to show how much your bet can return. Above the reels are the two featured King Millions jackpot features.

The game symbols provide three different Playboy bunnies: a bowtie with cufflinks, a key, a Manhattan cocktail, and a classic BAR symbol with the Playboy logo replacing the ‘A’ in the word bar. Frankly, that explanation was way too long, but I am leaving it in. 

The slot possesses 20 paylines to help you win, and only three additional symbols can increase your win rate. These are the Gold Playboy Epic Strike symbol, the Free Spins symbol, and the Wild symbol (Playboy Casino Chips).

The slot looks complicated, but once you have played with it, you’ll find it easy to know your way around. As the game is freely accessible on any device, you can play the slot with either thumb or finger.

Load the game and first set the bet amount to the cost you are willing to pay per spin. Press on the Bet button to reveal the full pricing list that ranges from $0.20 to $120. You can now begin playing by selecting the Spin button.

When the King Millions Bonus Wheel does trigger, you will play for a chance to win one of two progressive jackpots or a basic cash prize that will range between x7 and x100 in your bet amount. The progressive jackpots are amounts that grow as more players play the game. The Grand Jackpot begins at a value of $2.342.101, while the Major Jackpot begins at $1,171,050. Both values will get bigger until they are won.

The Epic Strike feature kicks in when three or more symbols land on the reels. This will always lead to a cash payout. Between three and nine symbols can land, and the return is shown in the paytable to the left of the reels. The values increase the more you raise your bet limit per spin. 

The Free Spins symbol unlocks the Free Spins Bonus round when three symbols appear on the reels. Before the main event starts, you will get to spin a wheel of fortune that holds the number of spins and multipliers. The maximum free spins go up to 30, and the maximum multiplier is x3. Free spins can be triggered during play to help you last longer.

It will come as no surprise that I have played all the Playboy games that have ever been released in this series and others. Now, Playboy Fortunes King Millions is a rehash of games that have come before, with the implementation of a progressive jackpot. 

I played this game in its real money format, set at $2 per spin and 50 spins. During this, I landed a big win, and it was nice to see the Playboy Bunnies join in the celebration. However, no other features were triggered at this time.

The end result saw my balance lower than what I started with. But I’m up ‘four playing’ the game again.

The overall RTP for Playboy Fortunes King Millions is 90.50%, which is very low but common when casino games carry millions in prize money. The volatility is programmed at a high setting, which makes it costly to play. The max that can be won from the base game is $240,000 if you spin at the max bet of $120. When it comes to the progressive jackpots, this climbs into the multiple millions.

The series of Playboy Fortunes is one to experience. It’s a little cheeky and fun. However, GameBurger needs to step up its ideas, as the Playboy Fortunes series is exactly the same as the Pots of Gold series, just swapping Playboy Bunnies for Leprechauns. As well as the Mask of Fire series. Not that the core of the games is bad; it just shows a lack of out-of-the-box thinking.
