Punk Rocker 2 by Nolimit City is set outside the subway entrance, which is plastered in graffiti and surrounded by city smog. Like the first Punk Rocker slot, the music is distant and muffled. The city sounds overlap with police sirens, moving traffic, the beeping of crosswalks, and people. The slot itself has a 3-row, 6-reel layout with 729 ways to win.

I love Nolimit City, as it rarely makes a duff game. The first Punk Rocker game was tame compared to the standards of the developer’s other work. Punk Rocker 2 comes with more features, a lot more, so I was looking forward to playing this game. 

I loaded Punk Rocker 2 and set my bet to play $2 per spin across 50 spins. The first win, $1.20, dropped on spin eight, the bonus triggered on spin 15, and landed the DisObey Spins. When launched, the music ramps up, and chaos ensues. Now, despite the train features coming into play a lot, nothing was producing wins. Wild kept falling on reels 5 and 6 and having no influence; multipliers had little impact, as I only won $17. The game then stated: “Worst Game Ever,” which was written on a dollar bill at the end. 

With the remaining spins, I won about four more times, nothing above $1.80, and again, all features landing seemed to only be on reels 5 and 6 and not influencing the gameplay. I ended my 50 spins with nothing to show for it. 

The maximum winnable amount is 30,144 times the player's bet. If you gamble at $100 per spin, you can win $3,014,400! The volatility is high, which is why I may not have done so well. The RTP rating is 96.06%.

Punk Rocker 2 is a good game, perhaps slightly hindered by its volatility setting, but as with any Nolimit City slot, it provides something very refreshing for what is a stale industry.
