Oh, look, another game release from Pragmatic Play. Yet another nail in my coffin as I die from their gameplay boredom. Tigre Sortudo is the title of their release, and it seems that Pragmatic Play is trying to confuse players into thinking they have done something wonderfully unique by approaching this slot game with a retro-style layout.

Tigre Sortudo is a three-row, three-reel retro slot that comes with five paylines. To the right of the reels is the Tigre Sortudo character, who possesses a multiplier orb. The design of the slot and the surrounding setting are absolutely exquisite. Design is about the only good thing Pragmatic Play does. You have a gorgeous eastern vibe with the slot surrounded by temples and cherry blossom trees. Sadly, their talents within a gaming capacity are about as good as having a funeral director's theme park. 

The Tigre Sortudo slot is even more basic than most Pragmatic Play slots, and that’s saying something. In fact, you wouldn’t believe it was possible, but they managed it. When you have set your bet, begin the game by pressing the spin button. The reels will spin and come to a stop to reveal the outcome of your bet. To win, you must match three symbols, and these must fall onto one of the five paylines. Given that the Tigre Sortudo slot does nothing for me whatsoever, I decided to test this game with my bets set to $0.50 per spin and play fifty auto-spins. The first spin wins me $10 in return. This is then followed by a $0.10 win soon after, and then $0.50 and $0.60. The hit frequency is pretty good, as no more than five spins are played between wins. 

The issue I have is that whilst all these varied wins do come in, their values are more often less than the value of my bet, so I am not making any gains from what I take in. Several spins later, the Respins Feature activates with the lantern as the chosen symbol. 

The bonus respin game brings about a big win of $10 and this allows me to break even for the first time. This is followed by a $5 win and I am now in the green where I could make a cashout. But I decide to play my last few remaining spins. The game ends with me being just $5 off from breaking even.

The Tigre Sortudo slot game by Pragmatic Play comes with a medium volatility program and provides a 96.50% Return to Player score. The maximum that you can potentially win is 2,500 times the amount of your bet. If you were to bet $150 per spin, you would only be playing for a jackpot that is worth $375,000.

Do I recommend the Tigre Sortudo slot by Pragmatic Play? Well, frankly, no, I do not. There are far better slot games out there in the land of online casinos that you should be playing. This game offers nothing new, and you get what you expect of a Pragmatic Play game, except the crappy gameplay is condensed into a retro-style set of reels as opposed to a standard 5x3 grid layout.
