In 2019, the world changed forever, and so did some people. This was through the release of a game called Tombstone by Nolimit City. Essentially, it was one of the best slot games in the Western genre. But for this slot review, we focus on the pleasantly surprising sequel Tombstone No Mercy.
Now, I say surprising because how can a basic game evolve? Well, this is what this review answers as I delve into the gameplay, features, programming, and software performance. With this review, you can also gain exclusive access to the slot in its demo format. You can play this game and see if it’s a game you would like to pursue in its real money format. Casinos.com will help guide you to the top casino sites online that support this game and many others by the brilliant Nolimit City software team.
Tombstone No Mercy follows the original game in all the same characteristics as you would hope. The slot layout is the same, with a diamond formation of 2-3-3-3-2. This also gives players 108 ways to win. The music is this cool classic riff of guitar, thick with Western vibes, with interjections of whistling and “ooh, ah” vocals. Damn, fine stuff, which is possibly one of the best backing tracks you will get.
Also, the gunshots are back. Like the first game, you can tap or click anywhere on the game, and you will fire shots at the screen, leaving bullet holes behind. This fixes itself when you click on spin. Now, I mentioned this game as a surprise, and this is the reason. So far, the two games are no different. At this stage, it can only be an update in the features and prize money.
Loved the first game, but looking at what the new updates are, I don’t think Tombstone No Mercy was needed.
First, find Tombstone No Mercy inside any of the top casinos online, make a deposit, load the game, and set your betting amount per spin. The cost of play begins at $0.10 per spin and rises bit by bit up to a max bet amount of $300. Once you have selected your value, press the spin button to begin playing. To win in this game, you need 3, 4, or 5 of the same symbols to land in order from left to right across the reels. There can be no gap in this alignment, as that would count as no win.
The featured high-valued symbols to hit are dynamite, gold bars, money bags, horseshoes, and a gun. The lower-valued symbols of this game are the A, K, Q, and J.
At this stage, the gameplay is no different from how the first Tombstone slot game plays. Now, I will discuss the differences and other special features of this slot game.
We start with the special features that happen to be exactly the same as those in the first game.
Outlaw Wilds: These Wilds only land on reels 2, 3, and 4 and cover the full reel. These Wilds come with multiplier values, and they also nudge and move to help produce wins. In doing so, the multiplier will increase in value by a factor of 1.
Justice Spins: This feature comes in the form of a Marshall and Sheriff badge. They will only land on reels 1 and 5. You need two symbols to trigger what are 3 free spins. During this round of play, the Outlaw Wilds will act as sticky wilds.
Gunslinger Spins: Identified as Scatter symbols. Land three of these, and you will be awarded 10 free spins in the Gunslinger Spins Bonus. This round hosts Outlaw Wilds that stick and increase in multiplier value. Additional spins are awarded with each new scatter symbol that lands.
Bounty Spins: Should you land a Sherif and Marshall badge in all three scatter symbols, you will unlock this bonus round and claim 12 free spins. The round hosts the Outlaw Wilds, increasing multipliers, and you can win additional free spins.
And now, there are new features for the sequel slot.
xBet: This is the Ante Bet feature from Nolimit City. It allows players to increase their bet by twice the amount, and you will be guaranteed to land an Outlaw Wild or a scatter symbol. Plus, you're twice as likely to activate the free spins bonus.
xBet Outlaw Wild: This Ante Bet will cost five times your bet value, but you will be guaranteed to land an Outlaw Wild on either reel 2, 3, or 4.
Loved the first game, but looking at what the new updates are, I don’t think Tombstone No Mercy was needed. I loaded the game up from my online casinos. I deposited and played with my bet set to $2 per spin. I played 50 spins in total, and the outcome was this:
After my second spin, I landed two Sheriff badges to get 3 Justice Spins. The excitement soon died as from this I won $0.90. The rest of the experience was pretty much rubbish as hardly anything was being won. I did, however, hit the Justice Spins again, this time, I won absolutely nothing. My 50 spins were soon up and boy, that was awful. My total wins came to less than $10.
The max payout for this game has increased from the first slot. You can now win 16,480 times the amount of your bet per spin. The Return to Player comes in at 96.05%, with the volatility setting at a level of extreme, which can make this a costly and risky game to play. It’s the very reason my experience sucked.
Whilst my experience was awful, and whilst I believe Tombstone No Mercy didn’t need to be made, it’s still a fun game. Even if you just spend hours trying to shoot the lizard that runs up and down the sides of the reels.
If you want something darker or more rewarding, then I suggest you play the following slots that are within the Western genre.
True Grit Redemption by Nolimit City.
Tombstone R.I.P by Nolimit City (not connected to this Tombstone series).

The Tombstone No Mercy RTP score comes in at 96.05%. This is average for a casino slot game and is a payback rating that is purely calculated on what a player pays and how many spins have been played. It’s nothing more than theoretics. Wins are still based on pure luck.
