Danny Dyer is never too far away from a newspaper headline—be it for his acting ability, speaking about his love of West Ham United, or his no-nonsense views on current affairs.
Recently, the former 'EastEnders' actor has been promoting his new movie, 'Marching Powder,' harking back to 2004 when he starred in the hooliganism movie 'The Football Factory.'
Danny's diary was pretty full for nine years when he appeared on EastEnders from 2013 to 2022 as lovable pub landlord Mick Carter, and since departing the role, he has gone on to host the new reality TV show 'Scared of The Dark,' do battle with a soggy bottom on 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer,' and also land numerous acting roles, in the likes of Disney drama 'Rivals' and comedy series 'Mr Bigstuff.'
Just when you thought Danny had done just about everything, he recently announced his next project—investing in and running a holiday caravan park with his daughter, Dani Dyer, in the new Sky series The Dyers’ Caravan Park.
But what else does he have his eye on? Doctor or 007, Danny? Or should it be—who else?

Danny has previously admitted he would love a crack at playing the titular Time Lord in 'Doctor Who' to put his own 'spin' on the part.
He previously told The Sun newspaper: "I would like to maybe have a go at 'Doctor Who,' something that’s been played by many different actors before and put my spin on it, my take on it."
It was recently reported in the publication that the current Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa, is "already believed to have filmed his regeneration exit", which could be perfect timing for Dyer.
He is 7/4 to be the next Doctor in the popular BBC sci-fi show, but he has also set his sights on the movies – and portraying the iconic British role of suave spy James Bond.
He previously said: "The obvious role I’d love to play is James Bond, you know, a cockney Bond."
Amazon MGM Studios have recently taken creative control of the Bond franchise, and if they are looking for a straight-talking actor to take on the lead role, then Danny could be their man.
But would he settle for any part in the next Bond movie? He is clearly a fan of the franchise, and it is 2/1 he rocks up in the next Bond flick in any role.
But if Bond doesn't come calling, then perhaps Danny could head back to 'EastEnders.'
His character Mick is presumed dead after he was lost at sea, but we all know that in 'Soapland' if you don't see the body, they aren't 'brown bread", as Danny might say.
The star would've been keen to return for the recent 40th anniversary week of episodes – but he didn't get the call.
Speaking recently on Ireland's The Late Late Show, Danny said, "I do have a lot of people asking me about whether I'm going back and I'll be honest, I would have gone back if they'd have asked me, but they didn't ask me.
"I think they've got the hump with me now; I don't know why!"
The star is 11/5 to reprise his role of Mick, but one BBC show he is unlikely to appear in is 'Strictly Come Dancing' – despite the frequent offers. He said: "I get offered to do Strictly every year, and it’s not for me. I’ve got no desire to be mincing around in sequins."
While he has distanced himself from a world of sequins and glitter, Danny has been far more positive about renewing his interest in extraterrestrials.
Danny is no stranger to aliens, after presenting the BBC documentary I Believe in UFOs: Danny Dyer in 2010. While he was unfairly criticised for the programme, it hasn't hampered his interest in UFOs. He told The Guardian newspaper: "My algorithms are definitely showing a lot of that s**t because I talk about it a lot."
Asked why some find UFOs so hard to believe in, he replied, "Maybe it’s fear. But I think the likelihood is we can’t be the only thing circling the sun; that’s depressing.
"I find it all fascinating and I like to fantasise about it. Surely the day is upon us soon when they’re going to reveal themselves."
He is just 5/2 to front an alien or UFO show next, but if his next project is a documentary, then the content could be much closer to home.
Danny is a huge West Ham United fan, and the club's captain, Jarrod Bowen, just happens to be engaged to his daughter, Dani.

The father-and-daughter pair have starred in several shows together and also host their own podcast, Live and Let Dyers, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they shot a Kardashians-style family documentary next, or Danny and Jarrod could star in their own show (3/1).
One of Danny's recent headline-making moments came at this year's BRIT Awards, when he called Prime Minister Keir Starmer a "sl*g".
It comes after he has previously branded former PM Boris Johnson a "f***ing alien" on The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan, and he described ex-PM David Cameron as a "t**t" on Good Morning Britain's one-off evening spin-off show, Good Evening Britain, in 2018.
In March, Dyer called for there to be "more working-class people" in British politics.
He told BBC News: "You know, the real people who keep this country going – the under-represented at the moment, the underpaid, you know, people just existing at the moment.
"We need more working-class people in politics that know what it's like to be working class. And we need more working-class people in the arts. The most creative people out there – musicians, actors, whatever – are working-class people. End of it, full stop."
Could Danny himself be heading to the House of Commons soon? It doesn't sound like it, sadly.
When asked recently if he would make a Donald Trump-like move into politics, he told The Guardian: "Absolutely not. I’m too busy. I love my job. I’m bringing up my children. I’ve got grandchildren. My clan’s getting bigger. As long as I’ve got my health and my family, I just try and have a nice life."
Dyer is 10/1 to launch a political career next, but he's 8/1 to host an episode of the panel show Have I Got News For You. It's more likely, at 4/1, that Danny pops up on the next series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, but he's previously distanced himself from that, too.
Speaking on the How to Fail podcast, he said: "I understand why some people do it, because they need their profile raised, or some have got a big tax bill.
"But I’ve never quite understood why I [would] want to expose myself that much on a show and let Ant and Dec take the p*** out of me for f***ing three weeks."
What's more, he's 7/1 to drop a single after joining Robbie Williams on stage at the BST Hyde Park Festival last year to perform Blur's Parklife.
The moment was later branded "flipping bizarre" by Blur's own Graham Coxon, but nothing would surprise in terms of Dyer's next career move.
