New Live Entertainment Space for Ontario’s Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel

Great Canadian Entertainment has premiered a new 800-seat live entertainment and special events space for its 116-room Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel venue in Ontario.

The privately-owned Canadian casino operator declared the 12,637 sq ft addition has been designed to serve as ‘an ideal space for a wide range of events from live performances and concerts to corporate gatherings’ and will help the 27-year-old gambling property to remain ‘a beacon of entertainment, hospitality and excitement for guests from across the province’.

Countryside Concern

Situated some 45 miles northeast of Toronto near the picturesque Ontario community of Port Perry, the Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel facility already featured a 25,000 sq ft gaming floor hosting a collection of 16 gaming tables as well as more than 600 slots. The 33-acre venue is moreover home to its own poker room in addition to a fitness center, multiple eateries and a PlaySmart responsible gambling outlet.

Increased Incentive

The General Manager for the Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel property, Stella Gallant, stated the newly-opened live entertainment and special events space ‘offers an expansive and modern setting’ via an open cell ceiling grid that ‘adds to the overall aesthetic appeal’ while ensuring ‘a variety of technical systems can be easily installed’.

Gallant went on to assert the ‘versatile layout’ of her enterprise’s latest addition furthermore allows for the accommodation of a wide range of ‘seating configurations’ from banqueting and theater arrangements to larger affair ‘general admission options’. She also praised ‘the absence of strict capacity restrictions under different layout scenarios’ to offer organizers and planners ‘the flexibility they need to create memorable experiences for a variety of events’.
