Bally's Corp. continued its rebranding push of properties across the country on Monday by officially renaming Dover Downs Hotel & Casino to Bally’s Dover Casino Resort and implementing its all-new Bally Rewards players club program in the process.
Bally’s is a major player among real money online casino operators in the United States with 13 properties across 10 states, including one racetrack (Arapahoe Park in Aurora, Colorado).
All rebranding of Bally’s properties has taken place within six months.
For this Delaware rebrand, the exterior and interior signage will be updated in December, along with gaming chips, table game layouts, etc.
“We are proud to bring the Bally's brand to Dover,” said George Papanier, the president of retail at Bally’s. “I’d like to thank the State of Delaware for its collaboration throughout this process, and I'd also like to recognize our team members for their contributions to this significant endeavor.”
Starting today, guests can pick up their new players club cards at Bally’s Dover. Those cards will come with all existing rewards already transferred.
To start the new year, the casino will have an incentive of a $100,000 Bally’s Capital Club Card Buy Back. Cardholders can drop off their Capital Club Card into the drawing drum. Every Friday in January a drawing will be held and 20 winners will receive between $500 and $2,000 in cash from 6-10 p.m.
The property also will celebrate with a $1,000,000 Ballyverse Cash & More Giveaway with all Bally Rewards club members to commemorate the initial rebrand on New Year’s Day. By playing casino games, members get a chance to win up to $1,000 in Free Slot Play or a chance to play for a grand prize of $1 million. Eligible entries can be earned from 8 a.m. on Dec. 31 to 10:45 p.m. the next day. Bally Rewards members must check-in at a promotional kiosk between 6-11 p.m. that night to be eligible for the prize money. Thirty winners will be drawn starting at 6 p.m.
The live harness racing meet at Bally’s Dover started on Nov. 1 and runs through March 31, 2022.
Bally’s Dover will announce its official plans for a grand celebration for its new rebranding and enhancements during the first quarter of 2022.
