Inspired Entertainment & DraftKings Debut New Connecticut Online Games

Connecticut’s burgeoning iGaming scene has added more options.

Inspired Entertainment announced on Friday that it is launching its online gaming products with DraftKings Casino in Connecticut.

"We are very excited to launch our best Interactive games early in the process in Connecticut, which is in its iGaming infancy," Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer of Inspired Entertainment, said in a company media release. "We have grown our presence in both New Jersey and Michigan, where we are now represented with 70% of operators, respectively, and we intend to do the same in Connecticut. We view the North American iGaming market as a huge opportunity, and key to our strategy of growing the digital segments of our business.”

The company’s Connecticut iGaming offerings will include games such as Big Spin Bonus, Bullion Bars and Gold Cash Free Spins.

Some more of the company’s latest online slots titles include Reel Linking, Space Invaders Roulette and Fortune Freespins, plus Megaways offerings such as Lucky Wu, Reel Spooky King and Super Hot Fruits. Inspired also has holiday-themed slots including Christmas Cash Spins and Santa King Megaways.

According to the release, Inspired Entertainment offers online, virtual sports and content for about 50,000 gaming machines in locations around the world.

Connecticut Relative Newcomer to Online Gaming

Connecticut became one of just six states in the U.S. market to offer real money online gaming when it launched in October 2021. The Nutmeg State introduced online sports betting at the same time.

New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and Michigan also have online gaming. Those states plus Nevada offer online poker.

DraftKings, in partnership with Foxwoods, is one of two online casinos in Connecticut, with the other being Mohegan Sun.

Connecticut online gaming accounted for about $780 million in handle in January, and taxable gaming revenue of more than $18.8 million.
