Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's hotly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine movie is finally upon us.
The trailer whetted our appetites, but we finally get to see more than two hours of Reynolds reprising his role as Wade Wilson 'Deadpool' and Jackman back as James / Logan Howlett, 'Wolverine'.
The movie will integrate Reynolds' iconic, comical character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and will also feature the likes of Emma Corrin as the main antagonist Cassandra Nova and Matthew Macfadyen as his "sexy and heroic" - in his own words - character Mr. Paradox.
While Deadpool is just getting started in the MCU, Reynolds has hinted that time could be up for him and the character.
The idea of someone else playing Deadpool is almost unthinkable, but Reynolds himself has brought it up by putting none other than pop megastar Taylor Swift in the frame.
There have been rumours aplenty that Swift will make a cameo in the forthcoming film, but Reynolds has set the record straight on such speculation after it was rumored that the I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker might rock up as Dazzler or even Lady Deadpool.
Reynolds told E! News: "I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor, because she’s our friend - that is not in this film."
The Swift cameo rumours have been rife and seemed to grow when Reynolds, Jackman, and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy attended a Kansas City Chiefs American football game last year alongside Swift, who was supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
While Reynolds has played down the Love Story singer's potential appearance in the new movie, he has earmarked her for a potentially bright future in the franchise by insisting she could even portray his comical superhero Deadpool character in the future - because she is "one of the funniest people" he has "ever met".
He added to the publication: "I always do say that if anyone ever were to take over the role of Deadpool, actually Taylor would be very good."
Swift is just 8/11 to be the next Deadpool following Reynolds' comments, but could he even keep the part in the family?
It has also been rumoured that the star's own wife, Swift's BFF Blake Lively, could be Lady Deadpool in the movie.
She fueled such speculation recently when she posted a picture on Instagram of her smooching an in-costume Reynolds, and she appeared to be wearing a similar red outfit to Lady Deadpool's.

Part of her caption read: "MY WORD... it’s hard not to encourage my ladies to spot all the ways we’ve influenced @deadpoolmovie I’ve never been more proud. And I’ve given birth 4 times."
Several fans took to the comments to hope Lively is in fact Lady Deadpool, with one saying: "Blake!! If you’re Lady Deadpool, I will dye my hair blonde."
Lively is just 1/2 to be revealed as Lady Deadpool following the speculation, but could it be too obvious?
Another Deadpool matter that isn't clear is a potential fourth movie, speculation of which Reynolds has played down.
When asked on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon if there would be another Deadpool movie, Reynolds replied: "Will we see a Deadpool 4? Oh God, no."
He then joked: "My wife and children will divorce me. I have no prenup with any of them. I will be, Capital B, broke and, in turn, probably doing Deadpool 4."
However, one way for Reynolds to get around his wife and make Deadpool 4 could be to cast her as the titular character.
The Green Lantern actress is 3/1 to take over from her husband as Deadpool one day.
Or, if Reynolds didn't want to keep it in the family but wanted to keep Deadpool close by, he could pass the role onto his good pal Rob McElhenney.
Reynolds and McElhenney have business affairs away from the cameras in their much-talked-about co-ownership of Welsh football club Wrexham.
The pair's ownership journey is featured in documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, and Reynolds would no doubt trust McElhenney (4/1) to do the role justice.
Other stars who would no doubt be in contention to replace Reynolds if a Deadpool replacement was needed would surely include the likes of Ryan Gosling (6/4), Chris Evans (2/1), and Sam Rockwell (5/2).
All three should have the comic timing necessary to pull off the character, while 5/1 shot Chris Pine or 6/1 chance Bill Hader appear to be solid choices.
But for now, as Deadpool once said in a post-credits scene: "You’re still here? It’s over, go home."
