Prominent online slots developer Thunderkick has bolstered its presence in the Italian iGaming market after inking a deal to supply a selection of its most popular games to the domain at Netwin.it.

Established in 2012, the innovator obtained its Italian license almost ten years ago with many of its 85 titles already available to enjoy via some of the nation’s most reputable operators, including Sisal, Lottomatica and SNAI.

The Stockholm-headquartered firm is also approved by iGaming regulators for a variety of European jurisdictions, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom, while being similarly certified by authorities in Mexico, Colombia and the Canadian province of Ontario.

Critical Consideration

The Chief Commercial Officer for Thunderkick, Svante Sahlström, exclusively told Casinos.com his company believes Italy to be ‘a crucial component of its commercial strategy’ with this latest collaboration further evidence of its desire ‘to become a leading supplier in the nation.’

The executive moreover explained Netwin.it will now feature a collection of his company’s most popular slots including Midas Golden Touch 2, Eager Beavers and Esqueleto Explosivo 3 so as to continue its tradition of delivering ‘compelling gameplay to Italian players’.

“While Thunderkick’s attention turned overseas in 2024 with market entries in Canada and Colombia, we remain committed to enhancing our footprint in our home continent,” Sahlström said.

“The Italian market is mature and we see real value in continually expanding the provision of our slots in this jurisdiction.”

Experienced Envoy

To oversee relations with partners in Europe’s fourth richest nation, Thunderkick named Andrea Brioschi to serve as its Italian Key Accounts Manager almost two years ago. Sahlström pronounced such a move involves ‘localized support’ so as to ensure it continues supplying iGaming operators in Italy with ‘the best possible service.’

“Having a native working in the market day-to-day facilitates the building of strong client relationships and equips Thunderkick with the required expertise to deliver efficient problem-solving, content tailored to customer preferences and effective localized marketing campaigns,” Sahlström said.

Favorable Forecast

Thunderkick described Netwin.it as ‘a foremost provider of innovative games from the industry’s leading developers’ while asserting his firm’s analytics of player trends in Italy are destined to ‘serve as a strong indicator of the success of future titles in the nation.’

Sahlström furthermore stated his enterprise is to carry on forming ‘strong relationships’ with iGaming operators by ‘travelling directly to their offices so as to provide hands-on and personalized support’ and continue cultivating ‘a first-class product portfolio’ featuring an array of ‘unique and immersive gaming experiences.’

“Some of our most popular games, including Midas Golden Touch, Hot Potato! and the Esqueleto Explosivo trilogy, have already gained significant traction with an Italian audience and our talented product team will continue to create visually impactful and entertaining content with these valued players in mind,” Sahlström said.
